Hector and sons are my new mechanics. They are honest, knowledgeable, decent people. June 2025 I brought my 2017 Toyota Prius in for a unknown clicking sound. I informed him that i commute for work so the car needed to be in good shape.Hector informed me it was unfortunatly an internal problem regarding my transmission. Upon arriving to the shop he and his son put my car up and showed me thier concerns and provided me with their suggestions. I had also ask him to check on my head gasket (long story how that came about) but what he said and found made sense.
Hector found me a used low mileage transmission and they did all the repairs including changing my motor mounts (I paid for the parts) without additional charge since they were already taking everything off, he wanted to save me money in the future because they were going out (I had been told to hav them.changed by a different mechanic previously).
I have now been driving my car (alot) and it runs like new. They did an amazing job! I would highly recommend Hector and Sons. I will be going back for any other work.

Took my 2017 Tundra in for a complete brake job. I had brought in my own OEM parts. Hector the owner was very responsive and professional. I even had a chance to chat a little to his sons they were very nice guys. His prices were fair and reasonable. I will definitely be back here again for any other work I have. Thank you Hector and sons! Yall treated me well! 👍🏼

The mechanics here are amazing! We just took my son over there to have a car checked out for purchasing. They checked everything basic on the vehicle and even showed him the gasket that was needing replaced and how the alignment worked. If you need a car checked out or worked on definitely go to this place

I've just moved to Manteca and found an amazing mechanic for my beat up little car. She's been in twice now for two unrelated reasons. Hector is incredibly knowledgeable and fair on top of being very kind and friendly. All the guys in the shop have been quite welcoming. In the inevitable when something comes up post 220k miles, I'll continue to bring my car back.

If your looking for an honest, reliable and affordable mechanic, go to Hector & Son Auto Services. Hector and his son were kind, professional and helpful in fixing only what my vehicle needed. It's rare to find an honest mechanic who doesn't take advantage of your situation and charge you for unneeded services. Hector saved me lots of money. I think we found our mechanic. Was visiting Great Wolf Lodge from out of town and my car started having problems just before arriving. Looked for the nearest highly rated mechanic and this shop came up. It’s obvious why they are so highly rated. Super friendly, excellent service, fast and affordable. They replaced my CV joint quickly and it’s been working perfectly since, and went out of their way to make sure my little vacation wasn’t ruined. If I lived out here, this would 100% for sure be my permanent mechanic! Seriously, look no further.
