Very bad customer service

I'd rather bank somewhere else. I've been banking here for over 20 years. Today I went to deposit a check but it was written in my maiden name. I called customer service they said just to take in proof it was me. I took in a birth cert, marriage license, utility bill in my name and my old ss card showing maiden name. The lady manager annoy3d the crap out of me, she requested a valid photo ID with my maiden name. Wtf? I said I got married 14 years ago...why would I have a valid ID today showing my maiden name. I get fraud us high right now but come in. She irritated me to the point I just want to switch banks. I called customer service again and even the rep was wondering why the Mgr is requesting a bizarre request. I didnt want to deal with that same manager again so I just called the vendor that sent me the check and put in a claim to swap my name on their part. Yes my bad I should have done that in the beginning but come on I was trying to show you hella proof it was all still me!

Highly do not recommend this bank . I went in to make a deposit in cash and somehow the next day they lost the money and the money was no longer in my account. No other transactions have happened on my account, and they had me come back in with my receipts to prove to them that I didn't make that deposit.

Worst Bank Ive Ever Been Too. They always make things a hassle when you come in and give you an excuse that "its for your protection". Both Janette and May Belle Macadangdang have terrible attitudes and give misleading information. I would NOT recommend going here and having to deal with either one of them. I would rather lick the ground. Get BETTER TELLERS !

their online banking is ok but going to this branch in Manteca is not a very enjoyable experience, long lines due to less tellers, this has been happening since the pandemic but as covid is tapering off there is no change on how they deal with these long lines with one or two tellers, customer service is not very attentive i guess and they must be also cutting cost

The wait time is ridiculous, only 2 tellers for a big line of people, I've been waiting for 40 minutes while they take the people on the business line first then you, they should have a teller for business or have them wait in line just like everyone else.

By far the worst Bank ever I don't know how anyone banks with this bank. They charge you monthly just to look at your own money. Who does that. Also I took out a credit card and I didn't use it for about a year year and a half and they close my account I never close accounts that ruins your credit they took it on behalf of themselves and closed my account. This bank is a scam is a fraud is classless.

Came in today to add my fiancé on my BoA account, spent 45 mn waiying without anyone check-in on us in the lobby. we were asked to see and wait that a banker was going be help us shortly but after 45 mn we have to leave since people dont just to Bank for picnic, we have life, kids to go home to. I dont waisting people time is fair, No estimate waiying time is given so you can make a wiser decision on staying or leaving. This is ridiculous and the worst bank experience i have ever had.I'm no coming back to this facility. Absolutely unprofessional and irresponsible

When will they hire enough bank tellers?! Management are you listening?? Who wants to go into a bank for a simple transaction and spend 40 minutes in line?? Look at your Yelp reviews I have been with this bank for 35 years, ready to leave it now!

Bank of America online sucks if you lose the card can't login because it asks for the card. If you call can't speak to a person because they ask for the card even after you say I lost it and provide the requested social security then they hang up. Worst bank I have ever had.

Can I give them 0 stars?! I've been a customer of BofA for 22 years and I've never experienced such rude and inhospitable staff as I did at this branch on October 14, 2021! I won't ever go to this branch again and I'm pretty sure that's what they were striving for.

Went in today and the line was much shorter than expected. The teller, Michelle, was super nice and helped me with my transaction quickly.

If I could give it a 0 I would. The little girl that's a teller. Horrible customer service. Lazy and bitter. I watched her disrespect two customers before meeting me. I was hoping I didn't get her because her negative energy was pouring through her face mask and tone. Management sitting behind her allowing her to be mediocre. I asked to speak to her manager when she tried to inform me of policies that do not exist. Her missing that I worked her exact job and visit the bank weekly , Twice a week often. Handled horribly. She needs disciplinary action immediately. This happened 9:55 am 1/14/2020 it was only her and a gentle men. Who was over the top enthusiastic. She needs to shadow him ASAP!
