Hal @ Golden Valley Credit Union has always went above and beyond assisting/ guiding my Family with all our banking needs. Hal is the reason we are members and highly recommend working with Hal. Hal will be honest… so if you can’t handle his honesty stick with your current bank.

The "supervisor" was rude and stood in line for more than 5 minutes before I asked can someone help us that are in line, and she replied, " be patient, I'm helping her" ( another teller) I then walked out thinking if they are rude now this won't be any better later.

My awesome credit union told me that they are a partner so I go inside and was met with the coldest one sentence response which was “we are only co-op though our ATM” puzzled by the captain obvious response, I didn’t know whether to think she was being sarcastic or not so I say ok and kindly turn around to use the atm which was broken. I understand not being branch co-op but literally no other attempt was made to help me. It felt like all they wanted was for me to leave. Maybe others have had a better experience but I cannot recommend this place as a professional establishment.

I received a call from this bank stating that my ATM card was compromised. So, they proceeded to cancel my card and issue another one. It was sent to an old address that I had over four years ago. When I asked why the address wasn’t updated, (since I went into the bank to make the needed changes over four years ago) she preceded to tell me I’m not the primary person on the account, and that my husband is. They managed to change the address for him but not for me. I said to her we’re married, how can it not be changed for me when I went in three different times to do so? Her answer is this is how they’re system is. Needless to say we are closing the account out, because we are sick and tired of the unprofessionalism.

don’t bank with these people. They NEVER answer the phone, they close super early. You can never get anything done here. Absolutely ridiculous

Very friendly staff and helpful. I've been banking here since 2005 and my only complaint is that they are closed on weekends to post deposits. Otherwise I wouldn't change banks

Garbage dont waste time....someone using my card in different state pending purchases so I notified them they said they had to take it first an file a paperwork an wait till they figured it out so I had no choice the day went in an gave them my card they made more pending purchase from same place same money duplicate purchases an they still holding an take my money they no help

Worst bank ever I have 4000 in bank on the first which is on Sunday but the money was pending on Friday which meant that they have my money but won't let me take it outThe problem now is how do get my pension and my social security transferred to another bank Im done

DON'T GO THERE! BEWARE OF GLITCHES IN THEIR SYSTEM. For the past week Golden Valley has been blocking my card. It was blocked over the three-day weekend for Memorial Day and I had to go to the bank Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the three hottest days of the year, and wait outside in a line in 105 degree weather, to go and unblock my card Everyday they would unblock it, but then after I made a single purchase my card would be bucked again. Obviously there's a glitch, but they're just throwing your hands up in the air and saying they don't see that the card declined and that my card was not blocked. If it was not blocked then why would I only be able to use my card once safter going to the bank each day. Each time I went to the bank, i was able to ouse my card once before it wad blocked again. They're refusing to give me any numbers to any higher ups, and they're not even willing to escalate the problem. It would be different ifthe issues were with vendors that I've never used, but these are vendors that I've been using for years... vendors that have my card stored in their system. I use these vendors all the time repeatedly, but all of a sudden they're being blocked. And not even once did anyone apologize or even offer to say I'll find out why this is happening, or let me see what I can do, ot apologize. So beware I hope this doesn't happen to you. But I think I'm just going to close my account there and take my two direct deposits somewhere else.
