My husband and I have shopped here about ten times in the past few years. This particular time on 09/08/2024, we were helped in the jewelry department by an associate named "Gwen." We weren't purchasing jewelry. I had found some items in the accessory department. But we had purchased black out curtains prior to. Gwen was so friendly with my husband and I talking about sports. She helped us use our phones to go online and collect coupons. We were really impressed with her persistence in instructing us. We will definitely be back do to her awesome customer service! Thank you Gwen! ?

Store has really good customer service kind young gentleman who works there showed me around the store to help me find what I was looking for and register people all gave me a super friendly greet my only complaint is the store is really outdated there was no Nike and many other brands I expected to see.

It’s been 2 days and the jewelry department still hasn’t replaced a battery into my Casio watch, a 5-10 minute job. Called several times unsuccessfully getting nowhere with employees and they were very unhelpful & rude, putting me on hold for more than 20 min. Just got off the phone, no battery replacement today & the person that that performs this duty won’t be back in until Wednesday. It will be five days now! What the heck is going on here? There is little or no customer satisfaction with this group!!!

Terrible customer service in store, no wonder why no one shops here. I went in to return 3 clothing items that were gifted. I was completely lied to by not just one employee, but two! I was told that exchanges without receipt were against store policy. Upon leaving the store and looking up their policy I found this to be untrue. Had to call and speak to a supervisor to resolve the issue, just to be told to bring the items in. What an inconvience and complete waste of time.

A while back I had thought this place was not going to be around much longer. I was wrong. Not only are they still here, they have improved. My hats off to the management and associates for making this store the way it is. Thanks.

A First Class JC Penny. Came to pickup online purchase and the store was immaculate even during the holidays. It was so easy to shop and every person who worked there had positive energy which I gladly accepted. I have already been back. Thanks Manteca JCP.
