I bought the whole pig last Sunday. The pig meat tastes awesome. It melts in the mouth. I am planning to go there every weekend.

I usually have my freezer stocked full of wild game from our hunts. But when I want to buy local (I’m literally down the road), I go here because I know where my food is grown. Excellent quality and it’s peace of mind knowing you’re going to get good, safe products. I want to work here!!!!!

If you want some good cottage bacon, this is the place to go. They have really good pork chops also and other types of meat that you can get at a reasonable price. Family owned business with great customer service would recommend them to anybody.
The Long Ranch, Inc. is currently owned by Scott Long. It has been a family run business for decades. Scott's father Bill and grandfather Paul owned and operated a pig ranch in the 1950's on Harlan Road in Lathrop, CA. When Scott's grandfather sold his operation, Scott's parents moved to "town" in Manteca, CA.
In 1972, the family bought a 15-acre property on West Ripon Road and continued raising pigs where Scott's grandfather had left off. In 2019, Scott's son Randy joined in on the biz! The family business has gone through many changes in an effort to provide an affordable, quality product for customers.
