I just want to say Yolanda is amazing! I went there with my sisters to get them some makeup since school is starting and she was so much help she was showing us all types of products really taking the time to do matching for us and educating us about everything HOMEGIRL DEFINITELY KNOWS WHAT SHES TALKING ABOUT! So happy with all the products I got that she recommended she’s so sweet and definitely deserves recognition

We asked were a certain colone was and a lady walked us over to where it was then just turned around and walked away before we could ask her to grab the colone we wanted. I went looking for someone to help us and they were more worried about how the tester eyeliner looked on themselves then helping us. Not the best customer service.

I was greeted by Kylie and she was so friendly and knowledgeable, she helped me get all of what I needed and knew where everything was, she didn't skip a beat!! I will definitely be coming back just because of her!! Thank you again Kylie you're awesome!!

3 times I have visited the Sephora in Kohl's. Once with my husband and 2 times by myself. Each time we have received above and beyond help. These ladies are amazing. Thank you

Horrible experience I purchased a mascara and i didn’t have the receipt to do a return They said it wasn’t on my history and they didn’t offer anything. I just checked and I it on my recent purchased items.

Every time I come, it’s an unpleasant experience. Almost everything is sold out and the employees barely look your way let alone give a smile or a “can I help you” . Some don’t even give a thank you or have a nice day after you pay. When Sephora was in JCPenney the employees were much nicer. These ones need some training. I’m a regular customer but I might start taking the drive to Stockton instead

I went to Sephora a few days ago to treat myself to a makeup haul. The Sephora area was clean, and the selection was decent for their smaller location inside of Kohl's. I was helped by a store associate named Mattisan. She had such a positive attitude and was so knowledgeable about all the products. I've been to many Sephora's and I've never had such a good customer service experience. I went in with a budget of about a hundred, which I know isn't much for makeup, but I ended up spending about three times that. I'm so excited about all the products I got, and I can't wait to go back. Thank you Mattisan for making my shopping experience fun and memorable! I normally go to the Modesto Sephora since they are a bigger location, but I will definitely be coming back to this location that's much closer to home.

Sephora used to be in the JC Penny here in manteca and I was surprised when I saw it inside the kohl's today. I figured I would look around and see if I found something to buy, which normally I always do. Not one person working there asked to help me in my 30 minutes of being there. I had to go to the line and ask for someone to help me and she seemed like she was overwhelmed. The item she recommended didn't even have enough products to choose from because they were out of almost everything. There wasn't a huge perfume selection if any, because I really only saw like 6 bottles when coming in. I don't know if maybe I didn't look like I was there to buy but I still feel someone should have tried to help me. I don't wear a lot of makeup because I don't know much about all of it. I was really disappointed this place wasn't like when they were in JC because they were always friendly and trying help upsell you. Hopefully they get better.

I just left a review on Google but they didn't allow it even though I didn't say anything inappropriate. So let's try again. I came to this spehora in Kohls by coincidence since I was already shopping. I didn't know it was even in this store until today. I was in sephora for approximately 30 minutes without anyone offer to assist me, so I went and stood in line just to be met with someone, cashier, who seemed overwhelmed. The suggested item she pointed out to me was practically all out of stock. I also couldn't find the perfume or colognes, except for like 6 bottles when you first come in. I hope the customer service improves and they get more stuff in. This place used to be better at customer service and upselling when they were in JC Penny.

Don't bother coming here if you have a return from a free standing (not inside another store) Sephora. You'll have to drive all the way out to Stockton or Modesto to do your return. It's all the same company so this is pretty baffling to me.

I'm giving this 5 review from my experience last night at this establishment. I'm a single mom and I haven't bought anything for myself since my daughter was born so I decided I'd like to treat myself that night. I was approached and greeted by the sweetest young lady Mattisan I had my daughter with me and Mattisan stayed and helped me with my entire purchase. basically a whole new face lol not exactly but everything brand new from makeup to skincare I spent about 400$. We were having such a genuine and informative interaction until a VERY disrespectful manager named Grisselda came into the picture. My 4 year old daughter was crying to me cause she was thirsty and Mattisan told me there was a water fountain so I had my niece take her and Grisselda told my kid she couldn't have a drink out of the fountain cause they're closing, She's 4? She literally cried. I get it they were almost closing but as a manager when you have an employee going above and beyond helping customers and making sales, one minute to checkout wouldn't hurt. To talk to her they way she did was unacceptable belittling and very unprofessional. To be rude in front of customers and mumbling things to her under her breath is disgusting if anything she owes her an apology. She did nothing wrong she did her job. in reality she went above and beyond to meet me, her customers needs and expectations. And to sell 400$ worth of items before closing Grisselda should maybe start appreciating her as an employee and speak to her with some kind of decency & respect. but anyways thanks to Mattisan helping me get back to myself
