Use to love the drive up option for target but now it's horrible. Have had my orders lost several times now and now my last experience with drive up was horrible customer service because they lost my order.

10 plus minutes waiting for some lady buying 10 gift cards. 4 associates at 3 different intervals helping her with a price issue. Scanning bar codes on her phone? Then during this a cashier which was helping this lady opens up a new checkout right next to us. You think she would have let us come over but no. She proceeded to let a whole new crowd go to her line.I almost left all my items on the belt and walked. This is getting worse than my 35 minute wait at Walmart. Get with it already!!!

Disclaimer: I used to work at this Target and have seen the best and worst of this store from a consumer standpoint. My review is based off my recent experiences in the last year and a half as a customer (guest). I have been really dissapointed with the Manteca Target for quite some time now. Since this is my closest Target, I am often purchasing from here whether through drive up or visiting the store inside. I am sad to say that I don't think I have received any of my drive up orders in the last year and a half in a timely manner. I am always waiting for a long time and the team members have never once come to my car to apologize for the wait or to acknowledge that I am there. Being that I work in customer service, this is something that is important to me. When I am inside for an order pick up I experience the same thing. It is even worst inside, though, because there are usually team members that are standing at guest service doing anything but helping the line which is frusterating as a guest. Additionally, the inside of the store is usually quite chaotic right when you walk in with long lines at the check lanes. It is sometimes hard to get by as there is no organization to the lines. *During Christmas time they do a great job structuring the lines for a quicker checkout. I just wish this could be the case all year round since it always seems to be busy when I go in.* On a positive note, the selection is usually good as the shelves are stocked well. I don't typically ask for help as I used to work at Target; however, I do usually see the team members assisting guests inside the store which is great and not always the case in other stores. Lastly, the Starbucks crew is ALWAYS amazing providing great customer service and value to all guests! Overall, I still love Target and will continue to visit this location; however, I hope that the experience gets better in the future.

Went there to pickup items I bought online only to be told they're "out of stock". If they're out of stock, why was I able to purchase them?! If they were in stock when I purchased them, they shouldn't have been sold right under me.I picked this option because I didn't have time to shop for these things only to have my time wasted for nothing.This is why Amazon is thriving so much. I was able to get what I wanted from there ( cheaper) and was able to pick it up at one of their locations effortlessly.

I want to recognize Susan at the Optical department at the Manteca Target for the excellent service they provided to me. One of my lenses fell out of my eye glasses and I had difficulty seeing without my glasses. Since I had an order to pickup there I decided to go in and see if they could pop the lens back. They had asked if I had purchased the glasses there and I told them no and explained that the Optometrist where I purchased would not be able to see me until Monday afternoon. Susan looked at the glasses and said no problem and even replaced my nose pads at no charge for the service. Not very often you find this kind of customer service. I highly recommend them and give them a 5 Star.

I was so happy when I first came here and decided to go to target. It sound so exciting as I just hear this store from my customers way back then working as a customer service representative . My husband said some products here are expensive but we do not go too often anyway. I got my new tv here And was very delighted because I love watching tv and movies all night long.

Four different dogs in the store yesterday. I love Dogs, but not going pee near the vegetable table. Since when are animals (non-service) allowed in stores with food!Do I have to watch out for dog crap now while walkingthru carpeted areas? This is horrible, and disturbing

The whole Target vs Walmart thing has become a meme nowadays. We often joke about how even though we pay more than we would at walmart, we choose to shop at Target to avoid the methheads and overall unruly crowds and environment in favor of a smoother, cleaner, more easy-going shopping experience. With all that being said, this location drops the ball as far as target's standards go.. I understand you can't control how people conduct themselves outside of your facilities but for the love of God, stop allowing people to bring their dirty, aggressive pets into the stores... These are not service animals because they were literally barking at anyone who got within 5 feet and I see this everytime I come to this location, among other things. Get it together so I can stop driving all the way to Lathrop to shop at Target.

This TARGET location has some issues. I assume the following complaints are all related to being a very busy and high trafficked store. 1. It's always messy. 2. Many items are constantly "out of stock". 3. Lackluster customer service. 4. Guaranteed to go well beyond two hour promised time for online orders. I would say their in-store Starbucks is the silver lining to my review! LOL. The Starbucks crew is always very friendly, fast, and makes my drinks perfectly each time. Anyway, you'll probably shop here just because it's the only TARGET around. It just sucks that this locations isn't the greatest.

I need to use the electric carts most of the bigger stores provide. I went into the Target in Manteca today - Sunday and it was busy. No cart. However, a nice staff member asked what I needed and got me a chair to sit on while I waited for one of their two carts to come available. Note: while nice staff, no one at the local Safeway or Walmart has ever offered that. The staff then checked round the store and outside, eventually finding one. And then the other. I was spoken to several times, thanking me for my patience. This was true customer service at a busy time. Well done to the management for encouraging this in their staff!

Clean and often has all of the items I need. I have relied on the drive up a lot since having a baby & the pandemic - it honestly has changed the way I shop. The store makes it so easy for me, the staff is quick, kind and gets me in and out within minutes of pulling up

Pretty upset. I've been standing in line for almost ten minutes. They had one line open and a huge line at the self checkout. I had five things in my basket ans standing behind someone with a large amount of items. When they opened up a new line, instead of pulling me over (items in my hands) they pull the person behind me, and the person behind her. So now those two people are done before me and I'm still in line. Be better at being aware of who has been there and don't skip over people.

I'm an avid shopper at this Target location - I placed a pickup in store order today. I had about 6-7 items, most liquid. When I was given the bag, I noticed a lemon scent which ended up being a cleaning product that had spilled in the bad and soiled the items. The kind employee, Madison offered to get all the items again. She didn't take a long time and though some items weren't available, she somehow made it work. I really appreciate her going the extra mile to make sure I had all my needs met.

Store is nice, usually don't have a lot of things though. Had an issue with a blonde girl at customer service, tried to exchange a Barbie that my daughter got as a gift, didn't know where the person got it from because I wasn't given a gift receipt. Chick looked at me like I was returning a stolen object. Said that "we either don't have it or you've reached your max of $100" I was like ???? Odds are y'all don't even have it. She was extremely rude. I've returned a few things here and there but not consistently where it would "reach $100" it's been months really for the same situation, was given it and didn't have the gift receipt with no issues. She seemed pretty racist to me.
