CitiBank made an error in my account. They acknowledged the error, but refused to correct it, costing me time and money. The local bankers did want their superiors to know how incompetent they were-they would rather I spend hours and hours trying to correct their error and suffering the consequences of their error. The local bank staff was rude and unhelpful and did not return my phone calls. I closed my account and will never return. Wells Fargo, Chase and even Bank of America is way more attuned to giving customer service; CitiBank is awful and then some. I had to give one star to write a review rather than the negative 10 CitiBank deserves! In reviewing the ratings for other CitiBanks in the area, the reviews are all terrible- bad customer service must be a CitiBank characteristic for all branches.

Customers beware! I went to this branch to cash a cashiers check issued by Citibank and they refused to cash it because I didn't have an account with them. Let me remind you that a business, that had an account with Citibank, issued me a cashiers check from Citibank and they refused to cash it. I had to leave MDR and drive to Westwood to cash this cashiers check! How is this customer service!? What bank doesn't honor their own cashiers check?! When I told the owner of the company who provided me the cashiers check what happened he was not happy and now will be looking for another financial institution that treats his clients better! If you bank at Citibank you should consider finding another bank. Literally NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

The people who work in this bank are really nice but they have actually no power whatsoever to help you with corporate issues. If you have any problems yourself with corporate it's better to write one or more letters to the OCC at the treasury department. The one star is because the branch acts like they can help you but they have no more power than you as a consumer. Why act like you can help me, when it's just a waste of time? Also when I finally did get results from writing letters to the OCC and corporate called me and fixed the problem, the branch called me and took credit. "Hi I fixed the problem for you, try logging in and let me know". Haha they didn't fix it, I did! I would have been very pleased if the branch (1) told me about the OCC and (2) either helped me draft the letter or drafted the letter themselves. Yes, a complaint to the OCC is not good for the bank but recognizing that I'm a victim is the correct moral thing to do.

If you want a terrible bank, come to Citi! There customer service has vastly improved when you go into the bank. They get 1 star this time because if you ever need to talk someone in the branch, they NEVER pick up the phone. I got transferred from the branch to a call center and I hung up after waiting 45 minutes. They could easily implement auto call back rather than just keeping their customers on hold for...indefinitely? Stinky to make me drive to the branch just to ask a question about my account. Customer service? Forget about it.

Just had an appointment with Thomas at this branch. He and the managers were great to deal with. Patient, efficient, knowledgeable. Bolstered great confidence in me to have accounts here. If you have wealth management needs or concerns, Thomas is your go to. Thank you Citibank for hiring him and keeping him with you!

The Citibank mobile app for Apple is the worst app I have EVER come across. If you are lucky enough to get on in one try, then 9 times out of ten it states they are having issues and check back later. Tonight it logged me in but then the wheel just kept spinning. Terrible!!

indian phone center answers citi number now. bad technical connection and untrained personnel with excruciating incomprehensible accent at the other end. don't be seduced by the rewards they pay for opening an account, it's not worth it.

Worst bank ever. Would give this zero stars if I could. Only bank I have ever heard of that does not cash their own checks for people who don't bank at Citi. Absolute scam. I was a service manager 2 at Wells Fargo and can say that this is absolute BS. I will never bank with them, nor will I ever refer them to anyone. super rude and unprofessional, tellers need to be fired, and the managers do as well for not doing their job.

This place is so disorganized. Even if you make an appointment show up a few minutes early. They tell you the person your scheduled to meet is at lunch. Then why the heck did you schedule me for this time. My time is prescious to. That's why I made an appointment. They don't care about their customers and their online banking sucks. I definitely can't wait to close my accounts here and move to another bank all together, where they know how to treat customers.

This is a horrible horrible bank. Customer service is horrible, AND they have notary that is NOT qualified. Because of their notaries mistake. I wasted an entire day driving to the recorders office only to find out that he didn't sign his name properly. The bank refused to compensate me or get it recorded for me. This will cost me two days without salary and time and gas. No compensation. No one will talk to me. No excuses!!!

Keon was very helpful in setting up a new account for us! We had an issue with online signup and he quickly fixed the problems for us. He even expedited the card to be overnight mailed and he's a man of his word (so hard to find at banks these days). Not sure why there's so many bad reviews but there was no wait time and we were serviced right away. We're happy so far :) Everyone was so friendly and greeted us warmly on top of it.

This Citibank branch couldn't cash a Citibank check written on a Citibank account, and it took them 20 minutes of god only knows what to figure that out, and then tried to blame it on the New York branch being closed. The manager went so far as to try and explain time zones to me. Yeah, a******* I understand time zones...I just don't understand why Citibank can't cash Citibank checks at a Citibank branch. What f****** century is citibank in? Do they communicate by carrier pigeon? Have they not heard of computers? Are they different companies, or....do they just suck? I'm going with "they suck".
