Esprit Marina del Rey is a private beach resort with stunning water views, located near Playa del Rey and Venice Beach. Residents wake up to the soothing sounds and scent of the ocean. The property offers expansive studios and townhome-style apartments with one, two, and three bedrooms. The location is great for views and walkable restaurants, and the promenade is enjoyable for daily walks with space for non-car activities. The building shows some age but is remodeling many areas. The inside of the complex is very clean and quiet, with plants everywhere. The cleaning and maintenance staff are great and very friendly, with maintenance having greatly improved. The front desk staff are always very helpful, and there are some nice community events. Specific leasing and office staff members receive high praise for their outstanding service, kindness, professionalism, and going above and beyond to help residents, making the approval and move-in process quick and easy. The main downside is the property management company, which has a lot of staff turnover and cuts corners, providing bare minimum resources. This has led to slow progress on some maintenance, like a long-delayed hot tub renovation. However, overall, residents would live here again, feeling the premium to be there is worth it for the incredible location and environment, despite the management issues. The problem is with the property management business side, but the people hired are great.
