The vehicle came with 192 miles to fill the tank, we returned it with 220 miles and they charged us 30 dollars, you can't get in touch, we went to the store and the person had to send an email and so far we have not heard back the reason for the higher rate

I contacted with the office and told the lady about the situations. It looks like they didn’t see the Car key I put on the table. After I told her about the situation, she found the key and did the returning process online . Thanks for the admin’s immediate replying.I Rented a car from Temecula Office 4 days ago. And wanted to drop off the car somewhere close the Airport. I Chose an Office close to Marina from Google and found out that was out of Service. Then drove to this Office at 09:15 this morning. I asked a lady in the office I came for dropping a car. She told me to leave the car at the hotel parking and leave the paper and the key at the desk. I did it as she told me and left the hotel. In the afternoon I got another mail that my renting extended one more day. I absolutely didn’t understand why? Hope the company hear my voice and solve the problem. Thank you.

I usually love this place! I come 2-3x a month. But recently got a new manager or something. I rented a car and turned it in a day late. Got charged an extra day AND a late return fee even tho when I returned it the second day was hours before it was technically due for my second day. That’s never happen to be with any rental company ever. I’ve gotten late return fees or an extra day. Or at least charge me the late return if I drop off the 1 hr after my scheduled arrival time but not both. Called hertz corporate and they couldn’t do anything for me about the fee, I don’t care about being charged an extra day but Wow. Very shocked. Even other hertz locations have never double whammied me before and sometimes I keep the cars for many days and never a late fee. So be careful renting here if you’re not sure how long you’ll need a vehicle, I guess they’re sticklers now. **i do want to say that the day I was supposed to return was a day they were closed so it’s not like they missed out on business because they couldn’t flip the car, if anything they made money off my extra day they wouldn’t have made before** I wouldnt even be writing this review if corporate gave me my $12 back.

Arrived around 11h35 am, the agent was busy with another person, then disappeared for 15 mn, when he came back around 11h50 am he told me he didn't have time to give me the car because he was going to have lunch and i have to come back at 1pm. He was quite insistent that i should have come at 9 am since my reservation was starting at 9.Very poor service here and not professionnal .Fortunately, when i came back later, the manager was in charge and was very efficient and took care of everything very kindlyWhen giving back the car, i arrived at 4pm(office closes at 5), be aware that the employee takes one of his brakes from 4 to 4:20pm....If you choose this agency, take some margins and be very parient (or ask for the manager)

I made a reservation to pickup at 11:45 am. I showed up at 11:50 am. No one was at the desk. Apparently he had gone to check a car that was given to someone when an empty gas tank. When he returned, I told him I had an appointment and he told me he was GOING ON A BREAK until 1:00 pm. I told him I had a reservation and he said he didn't have time to look at those things and he was leaving. Yep. Ruined my day. Cost me time,and money, and may have cost me a client. Never ever ever again. DO NOT GO HERE

I was told by Hertz attendant that if I choose prepaid fuel and drove few miles I. E. 2.0 miles I would only be charged by mile- not full tank $90.00. I returned car and only drove 20 miles however I was charged the full tank $90.00 and there is no way to reach a client service human to go over the situation. I submitted a claim online and got back an with the same invoice -fuel charge. Disappointing. 1st time I have issues w Hertz.

Updating my review to the 5 starts I think they deserve, after manager who initially provided the vehicle to me at check in resolved an issue the other staffer wouldn't address when I dropped off the vehicle. Convenient location and quick process. Thank you.

I almost didn’t rent with this location because of all the bad reviews but I’m so glad that I did because I had such a great car rental experience with them and ended up returning to rent a second time. Both times the two guys who work there have been so kind and wonderful customer service and both times I received cars I liked. My only suggestion would be to have the chemical air freshener they use be optional since a lot of people like me don’t like to smell those toxic things when driving.This is now my go to can rental place when on the westside.

FRAUD ALERT At time of review its 2.8 stars which is already very poor. At return of a initially broken car - WINDOW does NOT rool, hertz return says despite CDW insurance from hertz its now your liability if you have no picture it did not work at rental time. Complete fraud. How does a pic even document a broken window? Commercial fraud. If accumulated needs DA investigation

Similar to other reviews on here, I booked a car online then was called less than an hour before the reservation start time and was told there were no cars available, so I had to cancel all plans for the day which included a site visit for work. The most upsetting thing, is that I tried to call their office 3 times to verbally confirm the reservation, but no one picked up. It seems that something needs to be done to improve the online bookings. The phone encourages (almost forces) customers to use it, but its not a dependable system. I would not willingly use Hertz again for rentals.
