Scheduled a call to have my LG washing machine repaired. They gave me a 3-hour window that they would show up. He said he cannot tell the repair men their schedule, they don't like that, which seemed an odd statement. I waited and at the end of the 3 hours and they did not show, I called. Derek forgot to write it in the schedule stating "he is doing the best he can". The two men (father & son?) showed up...they went back and forth a bit. The younger guy walks out, I got the impression he needed to look something up. Older man starts talking to me and that Derek would provide a quote. He asked me for the $120 and I asked for a discount since I lost a morning's worth of work since they were late. He said "no bye" and walked out. Who does business this way? Will not use them again.

Very poor customer service!Owner just hung up on me after asking nicely for him to help with getting Samsung to refund my defective unit! Derek was very rude!

NEGATIVE STARS! TERRIBLE, ATROCIOUS , HORRIBLE AND HORRENDOUS SERVICE! TWO CLOWNS ? SHOWED UP WITH NO TOOLS. THEY WERE HERE FOR 3 MINUTES. THEY DID NOT RUN THE WASHER , DID NOT LOOK AT DIAGNOSTIC CODES, ALL THEY WANTED TO DO WAS THROW PARTS AT THE WASHER MACHINE. THEY WANTED TO REPLACE EVERY PART RELATED TO THE SYMPTOM I EXPLAINED THE MACHINE WAS HAVING. THESE CLOWNS ARE NOT MECHANICS THEY GUESS AND HOPE THE PART FIXES THE PROBLEM. THEY ARE PARTS CHANGERS NOT TECHNICIANS. THEY STORMED OUT WHEN I ASKED WHAT EXACT PARTS ARE YOU GOING TO REPLACE? THE SENIOR CLOWN ? WAS BACK IN HIS MINI VAN WITHIN 2 MINUTES THE YOUNG CLOWN ONLY KNEW HOW TO SAY “OKAY, OKAY,OKAY, OKAY WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE PARTS THEY PLANNED ON REPLACING. I CALLED TO COMPLAIN AND THE CLOWN WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE HUNG UP ON ME. LOOKS LIKE JOE, MOE AND CURRLY ARE RUNNING THIS ESTABLISHMENT IF YOU WILL.

Lowes in salinas refer me to them on a warranty that I bought for my washing machine. Lost a whole day of work because they said they will be coming between 8am and 5pm, they never showed up. Terrible service.

Big Screen came out to replace a pulley in my Samsung gas dryer because the drum stopped rotating. They arrived within the window they said they would arrive, were professional and went right to work removing the front door, opening the top, taking out the drum, replacing the pulley, and put everything back together in less than 10 minutes! Great service!

I called and spoke with Derek. I was desperate to get my LG refrigerator fixed. Unfortunately he said I was out of his service area. However, he gave me his time on the phone to advise me what I could try first before considering an authorized dealer or replacing parts. He was so genuine and knowledgeable. Very rare! I followed his instructions and it has been 2 days and it worked! Thank you for your help to ease my panic and make it work. I highly recommend them.

They do not return calls. I had an in- warranty service call they never finished and never would pick up the phone, either, when I called. Pretty poor business practice inho. It has been ten months and nothing from them. So I still have no lighting in my LG fridge.

When LG told me my refrigerator would be repaired by Big Screen Unlimited, I had significant doubts, however, Big Screen ended up doing terrific work, especially in the midst of this crazy pandemic. This is a local repair shop, not some big retail chain, so it's unreasonable to expect a 24 hr costumer service hotline. In my case, Derrick was completely transparent about the process and would usually get back to me in a day or two. They couldn't really do anything until they had parts, but when the parts did come in, they made an appointment the next day, offering to come by in the evening, after working a full day, just because they knew how long we'd been waiting and how important it was to have our refrigerator back. They were very conscious of COVID restrictions, worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. Our refrigerator works great now. I will go with these guys again in a heartbeat, even when our refrigerator is out of warranty

A loud rumbling sound was coming from our LG gas dryer so I shut it down and called LG. Luckily I was within 8 days away from it coming off of warranty. I'm glad I bought it through COSTCO because they give you a two year warranty while elsewhere you only get a one year warranty. LG sent a message to the nearest warranty repair service which was the Big Screen & Appliance Unlimited in Marina, California. They called me back within the required 24 hours and I explained the rumbling noise coming from the dryer. I was told that they did not have to come out to examine the dryer as it was either the four rollers, pulley or belt that was causing the noise and would order the parts ahead of time. Less than a week later they came out and found that a stop on the end of the motor shaft was missing causing this impeller looking attachment to bang back and forth within it's housing. They didn't have an extra stop but they did bring along a brand new replacement motor with a stop already affixed. They replaced the motor and the dryer is now working fine. I had been worried initially after reading a number of negative reviews but I found them to be very professional and they saved time by ordering replacement parts prior to coming out thus avoiding a second visit. I would call them if something went wrong with another appliance because a least in my case they did a very good job.

I needed to repair my LG refrigerator under warranty. The first company the insurance company assigned us to bailed on us. We were then assigned to Big Screen Unlimited. They called me back after I left a message for them. They were honest that it takes time for the part to come in. It took about two weeks for the parts to come in and for them to come and repair the refrigerator. But they were on time, respectful, did a great job, had a good and positive attitude, and most importantly, my refrigerator is working again! I did not feel like I was getting the run around at any point. They were very up front, which I appreciated. Thank goodness I had a back up fridge to use in the meantime. I'm not sure why there are 1 star reviews as I had a great experience with them. I don't usually review on Yelp but wanted to put my two cents in to recommend this company.

This is NO BIG DEAL HERE! The worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my 63 years on this planet!!! After being told that a Technician would have to visit my home to diagnose the problem for a $95.00 dollar fee that would then be a credit toward the repair for a part that I already knew I needed to be ordered, I agreed to make an appointment. Monday 6/15/20 between 2pm - 5pm. I left work at 1:30 PM TO BE THERE On Time. Around 3pm, I called BIG SCREEN to find out when the tech was arriving and was told by the person on the other end of the phone conversation that he didn't know if and when the tech was even going to show up or if and when he could let me know about another appointment nor did he even offer a solution for a follow up. So the technician never showed up, Never called and If I had not called them I would have never known. Subsequent calls to reschedule were met with phone disconnects like they were hanging up the phone and avoiding the call.

I have worked with this company at least three times and I'm covered under warranty with Best buy and they use this company and they've always been excellent. Please ask for Derek he's very responsive and a great guy!

Do not ever use Big Screen as a repair service! They are incompetent, dishonest and rude. I have a Samsung refrigerator they came out to repair and made things worse by breaking a wire during the repair process. Samsung blamed me for this and cancelled my warranty. I recommend you spend money buying a new appliance before considering using Big Screen.
