“Really special place best for grown people. Stunning views of the bay. The beach is physically challenging to walk on relative to the ones on the East Coast but gorgeous.The colony itself is remote; it's surrounded by the bay and farmland. If you want to exercise be prepared for a walking or running loop or loose sand. Scenery is mind bogglingly beautiful though so no complaints.Cell service is really challenging. Wifi helped but you really are off the grid to some extent. It's exactly what we needed!”
