Lynne was great! Very knowledge and caring! Pup was happy! I had peace of mind knowing my furbaby was well taken care of. This is a rural, no frills kennel located near Mariposa. Breathtaking drive to Yosemite!

Lynne gave us peace of mind leaving our furbaby overnight! This is a rural kennel, no frills, but Lynne is very knowledgeable and caring. The facility is totally adequate and secure. Pup was happy! Lynne responded to texts and gave me feedback on how well he was adapting. Highly recommended!

Thumbs down for this place for several reasons. My advice? If this is your only choice don’t travel.

This boarding experience was a D- . First I will say that my first impression was that is stunk and it was filthy.. I cringed having to put my little puppy girls in the kennel. Second both of my girls peed their beds more than once I am sure. They smell very strongly of urine and the beds are ruined. They are house broken!!!Thirdly I am pretty sure that they were not fed the food i brought for them as the bag looked close to the same as when i dropped it off.Fourth thing is she charged me 4th day because they were not picked up by noon. That was never discussed and she just told me "well its on the website" which i never found. If you want your dogs treated as if they are a family members and your babies then this is not the place for you. Its the bare bones only. I am only writing this review to save someone the sadness and disappointment that we had. My dogs are my little loves and were not treated in a manner that is acceptable to me or many others.

Our dog was well taken care of by Lynne. She was easy to contact and our dog was happy and we are so glad we found a new local kennel that we trust.

Lynne and her team are exceptional. She couldn't have been more caring and accommodating. Our puppas were well cared for. Lynne understands that people are passing through, who want to see things (some Yosemite sites etc.), where puppas can't go, but still want them to feel loved and cared for. 5 stars all around! We'll definitely be back, next time we're in the area.

Nice kennel with a great host. Lynne was very caring and accommodating. She gave our dog his medication and took him on walks. Very helpful in general, sharing local information and helping us with directions.

I did not have a good experience boarding my dog at Animal Care Center in May 2021. The facilities seemed fine. I chose to leave my dog there because his three dog girl-friends were also staying there at the same time and I knew he'd be much happier with them than alone. The other dogs' owners and I had specifically arranged for a kennel set-up where this could happen. When I came back 3 days later to pick all 4 dogs up, I was told my dog had been kept separate the whole time because the 'male dog' seemed to be picking on him (or something like that). I find that hard to believe because these four dogs have hung out together a lot and get along very well. The other dogs had been there more than three days and the owner's daughter (who was the only person I interacted with) not only didn't know Stella's name, she didn't even realize Stella is a female dog. Didn't make me feel like these dogs were getting much attention, and didn't leave me feeling like Animal Care Center would respect my wishes in the future, so I won't be going back there.

Left my 11 month old husky/aussie there for 5 days this past week. She had never been to a kennel boarder before and I was quite worried. Lynne seems very knowledgeable and kind. She explained that Sadie would be well taken care of and able to play with other dogs (if compatible). I toured the property to see all the kennels (there are 2 clusters of kennel/runs both below their house and behind). I much prefer the lower kennels and will request she stay there. I was allowed to leave her a dog bed from home, some of her toys, and a bone to help her pass the time when she is inside her kennel. It was comforting that Lynne gave me her cell # to text her to check in as often as I wanted. I called after the first night to check in and was told Sadie was doing wonderfully. She had made friends with another dog her size and age (just under under 1 yr) who was also there for the week. I immediately felt relived to hear she was doing so well and had a new friend. When I picked her up, she was outside in the play area of the kennel with her new buddy, happy as could be. Lynne was there in the kennel area (down at the bottom of her driveway) as I pulled up. I was advised from the start that if they are not at the kennel when I arrive, I was to go to the main house and knock on the door. Clearly they can't be with every dog, every minute of the day. The dog areas are clean and well maintained, I didn't see any p*** on the ground in the run upon arrival. They are a little muddy from them hosing out the kennels so often. Overall I was pleased with her stay. I made another reservation for Thanksgiving week, which will be a bit longer of a stay - so I will be back to update my review after her next visit. She takes CC for payment which is nice because I don't carry my checkbook around. Happy to leave a positive review since all I see here on Yelp are negative. That was not my experience.

Great local, rustic place to bring a dog. My dog enjoyed coming out to be a dog and hang with the other dogs. She's very shy and seemed to be really happy when I picked her up.
