“Our stay here was wonderful! To start off with, the hostess Marian was the kind of welcoming, caring person that makes you feel right at home. And the other staff were just as fun and helpful. Downtown Mariposa is a wonderful old town and the hotel itself is a slice of early 20th century California history. Our group of four stayed in two rooms and each room was just right. Large rooms with comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, good lighting, and a great A/C. The real perk for us was the covered patio in back. Comfortable in the morning for enjoying the complimentary breakfast snack items and coffee, yes. But even better, we ordered take out food every evening and brought it up to the patio to enjoy al fresco dining and wine. To make sure we had a great dinner, Mary made sure we had cutlery, glasses and condiments to make our dinner even better. We can't recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back!”

“Amazing location when visiting Yosemite! Circa 40 miles or so to the south entrance to Yosemite and similar ish to the north entrance. Really quaint hotel in a small, interesting town. Overall a very good hotel for the area given the limited options within Mariposa I think. Very good sized rooms and very comfortable room. Bathroom also very good size. Also very clean rooms despite being old in age. Breakfast was the hotel's only low point. Only one hot option and limited cold options for the rest. That said, it doesn't take too much away from the hotel. Lovely staff and lovely gift shop inside also.”

“We had a pleasant stay in Mariposa, the room was consistent with the photos, free parking space in front of our room, pleasant bedding and no noise from the road as some comments may say. We didn't have the opportunity to meet the managers because we were there on the Christmas weekend but it wasn't a problem for us because everything was very well explained. This motel is perfect if you want to visit Yosemite Park!”

“Rooms are very run down and smell. Hot tub was dirty. Lady at front desk didn't want to sell us beer because she didn't want to count her till. 6 pack of coors light bottles was $14.50 very expensive. The whole place was run down. Rooms were dirty with hair in shower and someone hadn't even flushed the toilet. I do not recommendNoteworthy details: This place is very expensive and run down. This place could use a renovation”
