Came here a couple of weeks ago while exploring Mariposa and we had a great time. The beads are so beautiful to look at, they have such a large variety of different kinds of beads. They also have ice cream!!These folks are so friendly, plus they have a cute dog! ?

Walked in there with my younger sister and she immediately got yelled at for not having shoes, so I asked him "what's the difference?" And he locked us out and called the cops LOL

I was very happy to visit the store today on our way out of town. We were a little bummed that we couldn't visit the other store as well. My Daughter was so excited to visit as she loves jewelry making. The owner was friendly and helpful. It's nice to see these stores thrive and making their customer feel welcomed and happy. So many lost stores during the pandemic. We will be back soon!

This single star isn't deserved. I've never met a more unpleasant human in my life. The shop owner treated me and my happy family like dirty rats for not wearing shoes in the store. We came to mariposa after yosemite just to buy beads at his store - but we got Kicked out and just thrown a very nasty attitude. He yelled at my cutest hippy little sister.. and when my mom came in to apologize for our shoelessness his wife yelled at my mom. Wouldn't even let us back in with shoes on. Please don't support this store. Even the shop owners around him know he's an a******* Will never go back. Protect your energy and stay away.

If I could give this store less than one star I would. Me and my family went to go in to the store and immediately was met with an attitude saying we couldn't go in unless we were 18 when on the door it says clearly you have to be accompanied by an 18 year old if under age. We had three 18 year olds with us and only three under age people. I have been coming to these stores since I was under 10 years old and I loved buying little goodies from them. As we were in the store he was watching us on the cameras the entire time that didn't bother me. I thanked him for letting us come in and my cousins even bought things from him I did not. As I walked to the store next door he followed me and went behind me and said in a rude voice "give me back the ring I know you took it" I then asked him what ring and he said "you took it right infront of me I watched you I can show you on the cameras. I walked back and I said okay show me please because that is something I wouldn't do. He could not get his cameras to unlock and I stood there waiting for 10 minutes and he couldn't unlock it. He then wouldn't let any of my family come inside any of the stores and kicked even my aunt out who wasn't there when this happened. The ring was only 8 dollars which I would have no problem paying for only the ring was not very flattering. I do not appreciate being accused of things I did not so especially with no proof. Then he called the lady next store who I will be writing a review about as well for she would not allow us to be in there when I bought items from her that day already. I do not appreciate the way this man and his wife treat people and the attitude they give to their customers is not okay.

Horrible customer service! We came in with my 10 year old who is in love with geology and my 7 year old. Both are very respectful...within 5 minutes of being in the store the man watching the monitors from behind the counter yelled at us for picking up more than 1 bead at a time..next time instead of yelling at your customers maybe start by politely asking them something..we had planned to spend a good deal of money and our kids were super excited to be there, but after that we promptly walked out!

I visited Beads R Us as a college student with my boyfriend. When he briefly glanced at his phone to check his work email, the man behind the desk shouted at him to put it away or leave the store. Okay.. we moved on from that. The bead selection is great, admittedly, but it’s not like he’s selling antiques or something. I hugged my boyfriend briefly in the back of the store, but the man was apparently watching our every move over the security cameras. He yelled at us to take our “inappropriate behavior” out of his store and we decided that no knock-off designer watch faces were worth dealing with him. For someone so concerned about the safety of the beads, he certainly did not care about winning over any potential customers. I personally wouldn’t recommend coming here

This is a store I could and did spend hours in. The two young ladies behind the counter were extremely helpful, pleasant, and patient with me not knowing the terminology for certain beading supplies. The store is beautifully layed out and decorated with everything a "beader" or jewelry designer could want. The variety is staggering and I can't think of anything that could possibly be needed.Turns out the counter ladies are twins and they have one additional sister also working for Su. All three are professional and kind. I'll be back soon.

I come here every year to visit my family and we always stop in to stock up on beads. The owner is super nice. He knows so much about making jewelry and help me with the basics I need. They have such a variety of beads and gem beads. I can't wait to come again this year and stock up!!

Fantastic selection of jewelry supplies. Everything imaginable from precious stones to findings of all metals and a great selection of gifts as well. I definitely recommend you stop by and check this place out. Once you visit it will always be on your list to come back. And tell your friends about it. I am a crafter of handmade jewelry and this place is one of my most favorite search locations for unique items.

We purchased a wedding ring for my husband. After 3 weeks of wear, he went to take it off and severely injured his finger due to cheap stone with cheap glue falling out.. The owner was so heartless she didn't even care about the injury and when I called her out for using cheap glue she hung up on me . HEARTLEASS WOMAN didnt even have compassion for the serious injury and refused to replace or repair the faulty jewelry. Do not purchase any jewelry. They are using cheap glue and can hurt people. This item was purchased at Yosemite gift but they own the bead store as well. Beware. These are awful owners.

Lots of wonderful items but no mask wearing or social distancing. It's sad that they do not care about those that are high risk.
