Room very clean. Includes a very large refrigerator to keep food and drinks cold. Front Desk person helpful and efficient. Delightful night at the Inn.

Rooms are very run down and smell. Hot tub was dirty. Lady at front desk didn't want to sell us beer because she didn't want to count her till. 6 pack of coors light bottles was $14.50 very expensive. The whole place was run down. Rooms were dirty with hair in shower and someone hadn't even flushed the toilet. I do not recommendNoteworthy details: This place is very expensive and run down. This place could use a renovation

Good inexpensive motel to stop by on the way to Yosemite. Stayed for a night. The location is great and the property is beautifully landscaped. The room was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was good too. The bathtub outlet was slow to empty and the tub started filling up to slightly above ankle deep during a shower. One suggestion is to keep a box of tissues in the rooms. But these were only minor inconveniences. Wifi worked and there was plenty of free parking inside the compound.Rooms: Basic but clean. There was a little, somewhat dated microwave, coffee maker and a refrigerator. The room was stocked with tea, coffee, soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The basin sink/mirror was outside the bathroom.Nearby activities: Very close to a lovely little downtown. Close to Yosemite south entrance, great place to stop if you want an early start to Mariposa Groves....Safety: Felt safe.Food & drinks: There's a restaurant on the property and the included hot breakfast (in the lobby) is decent. Waffles, hard boiled eggs, bread/toast, biscuit(?), milk, oatmeal, juice, tea, coffee and a few other options.

Rating for our stay at the motel in Mariposa: DisappointingThe Yosemite Miners Inn in Mariposa was a real disappointment except for its location near Yosemite National Park. We encountered the first problem while showering: there was only cold water in the shower. When I kindly asked reception to give us another room, which should have been a given, we were first told that no other rooms were available. When I checked to see if no one was checking out on the same day, we were told that the rooms were intended for newly arrived guests. So we had the unpleasant impression that they wanted to treat us as 'second class guests' in a room without hot water at the Yosemite Miners Inn in Mariposa and ignore our complaint with a friendly smile. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating. After a more or less even clearer inquiry, suddenly - after a conversation with the manager - another room was available to change on the same day. A miracle had happened. Within 5 minutes a room was suddenly available. During the conversation, the employee accidentally let us know that there had been no hot water in this area for several days and that it would stay that way for a few more days. That's what I call a good business model and excellent service: accommodating guests in an outdated room without hot water for $180 a night.By the way, the view from the first room was a kind of garbage dump with junk from a company next to it, the coffee machine was broken and the hairdryer "felt" 40 years old. The whole room was outdated. But that wouldn't have been so bad because it's also a simple motel. But for $180 a night we would like to have a motel that doesn't knowingly put us in a room without hot water and then tell us untruths.Overall, this stay at the Yosemite Miners Inn was a huge disappointment.Rooms: Old and worn out.Food & drinks: The "breakfast" couldn't be more sparse. And we have already experienced a lot of motels and hotels on our travels.

We were given a room that had no working air unit, the toilet would not stop running water, and the phone did not work. The jacuzzi water looks green. We were told that was the only room available. For the price, I think a motel 6 would have been better. Rooms smell clean. This place is old and worn. Would not be recommending this place. We were not offered a veteran discount but read that someone got a senior discount.

Great staff but the facility is rustic and outdated. Slow internet, dirty carpet, and blanket. Overall a Motel 6 level motel.

My life partner and I went to a wedding near by and when we got to the hotel the check in was quick. We were able to put the bame down for our guests that were arriving later that day so they can get there own key cards. When we got back from the wedding like at midnight the bar in front of the hotel was still open. Because there was no food Available at that time. Phillipe who works late night at the front desk. Let us in to buy some drinks and snack in the gift shop. God bless his soul. The. In the morning Janice and Debra let us have breakfast just past 9 when it was supposed to be over. They were very nice as well. Overall we had a great time!

Stay was okay. Rooms were clean but old. Stuff friendly. breakfast food was motel standard, BUT EVERYTHING (every single dish, cups, cutlery, food packaging, plates etc) was served in plastic. It was just every where. Incredible waste and absolutely not suitable!!! In times like these absolutely incomprehensible!Food & drinks: The breakfast food was motel standard, BUT EVERYTHING (every single dish, cups, cutlery, food packaging, plates etc) was served in PLASTIC. The place is great. The rooms are huge, and full equipped. The stuff super kind. The breakfast very complete (boiled eggs, waffles, fruits...). And there are also swimming pool and jacuzzi. We do recommend it ?
