“Not fancy but entirely sufficient. Comfortable beds and a hot shower. They have outdoor grills and picnic tables, good as there are no walkable restaurants. Have your own bbq or picnic. Very dog friendly. Chargepoint EV charging is a five minute walk away. Darwin was our host, a very polite and helpful young man.”

“Most of the food was tasty, the hamburger was overcooked when asked for rare. The server was very casual and consistently helpful. The inside seating was quaint and comfortable, but if you're expecting a fine dining environment, this is probably a bit more casual than you'd prefer.”
“We had a fantastic stay in Markleeville at the Creekside Lodge. The room we stayed in ( #10) had a king bed, little refrigerator, comfortable club chair with reading lamp, and a large window that we opened to listen to the creek at night. There's a vending area with microwave available also. Since we are usually camping instead of staying in a motel, we had food in an ice chest with us as well as our camp chairs so we sat out overlooking the creek to have breakfast and lunch. There's also a great restaurant right across the street serving very good food. It's quiet at night and away from the crowds. The room was very clean, and Todd, the manager, was a great communicator. Check in was easy. Highly recommend this motel.”
