Wow. We got an amazing deal on a sideboard from the 1800's. It was refinished to perfection and wet are in love with it. I literally can't wait to go back for my new dresser and bedside tables. Amazing work!

We had Fred at Attic Child transform our ugly duckling 1940's bedroom furniture into a beautiful swan. Up-cycle your furniture vs replacing it. Fred is a great small business owner who takes pride in his work along with outstanding customer service. We highly recommend his shop if you are looking for quality furniture or looking to make over your existing pieces.

Love attic child! My out of style pine hutch and table needed an update, my sister has several pieces from Fred, so I enlisted him to paint my dining room set! Couldn't be happier and I get complements all the time! Wayyyyyy less expensive than a new set! And it's new to me now! He even picked it up and delivered it back. He's your guy!

I bought a 6 drawer dresser here over 7 years ago and it is my favorite piece of furniture. It is beautifully painted white and everything works so well on it. The owner was friendly and delivered it to San Francisco! I paid about $350 which was the same price for an IKEA dresser but this one is a statement piece I'll have forever and all the drawers work. I highly recommend this place. The owner is honest and helpful. I can't wait to go back when I have a bigger apartment!

I recently was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and have to downsize and sell my house. I have a vintage 3 piece oak dresser set that has been through 3 of my kids and I no longer have room for it. Its also in desperate need of refinishing or painting. I decided to bring in photos and a drawer to Attic Child to see if they would be interested since their store is full of refinished furniture. The man looked at the photos and checked out the drawer and offered me $150 for all 3. I was hoping for a little more but settled on the $150 since I knew I needed to get rid of it as soon as possible. The man showed up at the appointed time and the first thing I noticed was he wreaked of cigarette smoke. It was unbearable. He instantly started picking apart what was wrong with the furniture. If the furniture would have been in excellent condition I probably would have been able to get a lot more for it somewhere else. He told me he could only give me $100 for it and I started crying. It was hard enough letting it go for $150. He has been in the business long enough and should have never made a $150 offer if he didnt think it was worth it. He then offered me $125 and I told him fine and to take it. He stormed out and left the furniture and the horrible smell of cigarettes behind him. Im appalled he would try to take advantage of me like that knowing what kind of situation I was in. Needless to say I wont be doing business at Attic Child ever again.

SO HAPPY to have worked for with Fred on a beautifully painted 1800's buffet for our dining room. His prices are reasonable for the types of pieces he curates - all hight quality with time tested craftsmanship. The custom paint jobs are great too! He has an excellent selection of Sherwin-Williams paints to choose from. Turnaround time was reasonable and the delivery was quick and professional. I'll be sure to visit Fred for any future big furniture purchases!
