The young punk working the front counter is a tool and his attitude goes with this hotel. This is by far the most ran down dumpster of a best western i have been to out of hundreds! 30 min before check in rooms not ready and wouldn't check us in after being on a train for almost 6 hours. So customer service sucks Atmosphere Sucks the walls of the elevator are wrapped in cheap car wrap peeling. I'll stay 30 min away next time instead of staying at this place. Oh and at night if you can walk out the front without stepping on a cockroach good luck they have a big problem!!

I have been to plenty but I keep coming back here. It's just so convenient the location you have so many places close to you just a walk away. It's quiet no one disturbs you. The staff very professional. Their location always clean neat and tidy. Amazing breakfast option as well as easy access to freeways. Just overall happy with my experiences definitely returning.

I've stayed at this hotel for many years throughout the time I've worked in the Bay Area. I know that staff changed for the good and the rooms are the same but the breakfast used to be outstanding and to really want to stay at the exact location. I just stood here and went to breakfast, and now that has changed. Changed for the worse. Maybe it was bad timing, but they got rid of the self-made waffle machine and toast and fruits. They even got rid of the pre made omelets. Now just eggs sausage and oatmeal, apple juice. I hope it was bad timing but I'll will see when I go back up in a few months.

I’ve been in better but I’ve also been in worse.
Everything was clean, bed was big and comfortable, pillows small and square.
The walls are THIN!! we were on the second floor and we could hear the people upstairs and the people in the hallway. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
There was an old stale musty smell to the whole building.
The customer service was iffy. Like they were kinda nice but not at the same time.. and this is the first time in a hotel where I’ve asked for another pillow and they made us go down and get it instead of bringing it up to us.
The breakfast had surprisingly a ton of different breakfast options! Including biscuits and gravy

I felt the Location was nice. Staff not overly friendly, they do their job. Maids cleaned our room daily, we were pleased with service. Ice machine on all floors, self laundry, breakfast included - comparable to holiday inn. They also had a waffle maker.

I am still wondering why this place has so many bad reviews.
My experience from the very beginning was great. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, welcoming and professional. The room was clean and fully stocked with the items we needed. Breakfast was really good and the workers were friendly and kept the place clean. Overall me and my family had a great experience here. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely stay here again if we're in the area. Thanks for the great service.

Service was okay, location to other establishments is a 7/10, however those beds are absolutely atrocious, they are rock hard, you’ll go to sleep as a 25 year old and you will wake up so stiff and in pain like you aged 70 years overnight. If you plan on getting any sleep this place is not for you. This hotel is remodeled it looks fabulous however they need to quit being penny pinching and just buy new beds.

They supposedly gave us some room with a horrible AC that doesn't work and it's hot today. Didn't even get a decent room. Lady at the front does seem pretty rude didn't help at all. Was saying that the maintenance guy was supposed to fix it but he said he couldn't do anything till the next day which is really not okay especially on a hot day like this Lady was named Esther. Not really nice at all I wouldn't recommend A refund would be nice but the lady seemed like she was complaining about that

Right when we got there, the woman at the front desk seemed annoyed. She was not friendly or welcoming whatsoever. The room had a weird musky odor. There were people arguing and screaming in the neighboring rooms for hours. All of these things could be forgivable, but in the middle of the night, the fire alarm started beeping. My husband called the front desk, and the man at the front desk would not help us. At one point, he asked my husband if he tried taking it off the wall. For all we know this could've been a carbon monoxide detector and he was putting our lives at risk. No one helped us. Then with only a few hours till morning the fire alarm went off full blast in our room. No one fixed it. Neighboring rooms were screaming to shut it off. By this time, it was almost 3 AM and we needed to be up and leaving at 5 AM before we got a different room. Zero Sleep was had in this hotel zero was done to compensate us for this horrible stay. The front desk said they were sorry but we booked through a third-party and they couldn't issue us a refund. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Items of interest:
- Room size: Single King-size bed room, moderate.
- Dog friendly: Absolutely
- Location: About 30 miles northeast of Oakland. Almost every retail need is within walking distance
- Staff: Spectacular
- TV: Basic cable
- Cleanliness: Clean
- Bed: Comfy womfy
- Fellow guest proximity: Far enough to sleep well
- Next door/guest noise level: Depends on your fellow patrons. Noise/footsteps from room directly above you can be noteworthy
- Jet/Airport noise: None
- Mass Transit/Freeway noise: Freeway noise present on CA 4 side but I find it relaxing
- Riff Raff Noise: None
- Homeless encampments in immediate area: None, correction, one person living adjacent to Tesla Charging Station across the street
- Swimming pool: Outdoor with hot tub. Check hotel for hours
- Breakfast: Hot food with all the fixings. Pretty good for Continental style
Would give 4.5 stars if possible. Only requirements for this property to get 5 stars from this modern-day drifter is to fix the minor flaws in bathrooms. For example: wobbly toilet; shower rod/shower head flange detached from wall.
Nearby activities: John Muir National Historical Site is very close as well as The Radke Martinez Regional Shoreline Park with Dog Park.
Safety: Seems like an incredibly safe neighborhood.

Great location with a shopping center and restaurants near by. There is also a Tesla Supercharger across the street.
The service at check in was great but after that it seemed we were an inconvenience.
The rooms were clean but the hallways were dirty and had a motel feel.
