Service was good by the only cashier / person I saw when I checked in and out. He frequently called for support due to exceeding line . The person he called for never showed , theirs items all on the floor that needs to be pushed and flexed into the aisle. If you're coming here do not be on a time schedule. Selection of things were picked over. Value of items varies. Line to checkout gets hectic!!

#TravelsWithDucky and I find this dollar store convenient, both because of its nearness to our home, in Martinez, and also for the wide variety of things that they have here. Journals are always a great thing to get at this store. Cash is not taken here, however credit cards are fine. The cashiers are vaguely friendly.

Lol... I went to the Dollar Tree in Martinez yesterday with my list in hand to buy a dozen or so items. As I entered the store I went to get a shopping cart and found them locked and while trying to figure out how to detach one, the clerk at the register said, "You need to insert a quarter". I thought.. and said, " That's just Silly!"..So I grabbed a hand basket and went about shopping for the things on my list. I only bought what I could fit in the little basket and left off several items that wouldn't fit.As it turns out, I would have spent $5-$10 more had I used a shopping cart.I hope this isn't a trend that other stores will try to use to make 25¢ off their customers because it'll cost them a lot more at the register,!

They have many options and good stuff but the workers are really slow. I once waited in line for like 20 minutes. I would recommend it but only if you have time.

Every time I've gone in there, it seemed like there was only 1 cashier (at least they're friendly) and nobody else to help find stuff & answer questions.

It is nice that they sell affordable helium balloons for different occasions. $1.50 is pretty cheap compared to others that charge well above $5.

A disaster! I managed to topple over a candy shelf. The isle was covered. People helped me pick it up. Thank goodness for great Samaritans. They can spot a shleprock. Then... And THEN, I toppled over a rack of boxes of drinking straws! Yup! That's me

Major props to Leamon for all that he does. He seems to be the ONLY worker here. Hispanic lady, whom I'm guessing is the manager just sits on her a$$ in her office while the lines pile up. The last time I was here, a customer went up to her window and asked for a cashier & she paged him! She could've got off her butt and rang everyone up. Mind you, he was stocking merchandise at the time. & TODAY, Leamon was helping a customer with balloons and the line got over 8 customers deep and this lady has the nerve to pat him on the arm, take the till and walk out. LADY, the bank ain't going anywhere. I know damn well she saw the line of people. Leamon deserves a raise because I sure would've walked out!

Me and my roommate went t9 this dollar tree today which is July 12,20023 and the cashier leamon an older black guy was very rude and it was at 2:36pm and he also smelled bad and looked like he doesn't like his job amd never asked my roommate who is disabled for any bags and had to carry her stuff and when he was bagging my stuff he just man-handled my stuff like he was the hulk. I didn't like his attitude not friendly at all and I will no longer shop at this location and will go to the concord one which is more friendly and nicer.
