Stopped in for a haircut as it was getting hot and I really needed one. I was warmly greeted and made to feel welcomed. This location was well staffed. I found it also clean and tidy. Thanks for the great service... hope to revisit soon.
Requested style: Very polite and professional when listening to my style request. Asked me relevant questions.
Hair type: Stylist understood my instructions and I felt very confident with getting a cut here

Great clips that I went to here in California is really good. The place is clean and the lady who cut my hair was very professional.I usually go to Great Cuts in San Antonio that's where I live. Great clips can track your haircuts to the computer system so it gives the person who's cutting your hair and idea what she needs to do. Great idea. I highly recommend

Date: 11/13/2023Title: A Hair Salon Nightmare: A Scathing ReviewI recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Great Clips Muir Station, and I feel compelled to share my dismal encounter with the world. I’ve been going to this place for over 7 years. I’ve noticed a lot of turnover recently but wasn’t prepared for the cut I experienced. From the moment I stepped into the salon, it was evident that I had made a grave mistake entrusting my hair cut to their supposed expertise.First and foremost, the stylist was pushing me through this hair cut like the building was on fire and she had to get out. She continued to clean the shears with disinfectant right by my face. As she began to use the shears, it just tore and ripped through my hair, scraping and cutting my scalp and neck. Another dowsing of disinfectant spray and we're back at it. Worst hair cut ever, I mean ever.In conclusion, save yourself the trauma and steer clear of Great Clips Muir Station. There are countless reputable salons out there that genuinely care about their clients and take pride in their craft. This salon is a disaster waiting to happen for anyone daring to seek a decent haircut.

Have been going to this Great Clips location for 4 years and am very happy with the service and the quality haircutters that work at this location. Even though I have a Great Cips much closer to my home, I always go to the Muir Station location to get my hair cut!Service: Haircut

It really saddens me to have to leave such a negative review. And this is no way intended on the quality of my haircut or the staff cutting hair. It really makes me upset to hear how greedy the owner of this franchise (4 total franchises) treats their employees. Just this month slide the Martinez Muir station great clips saw 5 employees quit. The owner of this franchise location does not offer any benefits to their employees, no 401k, no retirement options. The owner makes employees work Holidays without Holiday pay from 9am-8pm. That is outrageous, who in their right mind willingly wants to work a Holiday without any incentive to be away from their family or friends during a time of gathering and celebration. I can no longer support this company and most certainly not put another one of my hard earned dollars in the greedy unfair franchise owners pocket. Not until you share the wealth with your employees and may I consider being a patron of this business again. Make it right or continue watching your employees leave you for someone who values their work.

It's finally happen. As a mother to a non-verbal level 2 autistic toddler it has happen. Someone didn't want him around them and it sucks. My son loves haircuts, love fashion and hair and the mirror and just the whole concept of beauty. It's his special time. We came in on a Tues at 530. Did the online check in and we waited. Sure he was a bit wiggly and he's non-verbal so he's "making sounds" And right away the hairdresser is uncomfortable and standoffish and that kind of made the situation worse. Because instead of showing kindness and compassion she was uncomfortable. She stood away from him as if she was disgusting and her face just said it all and that also set him off because he can tell from body language and just the facial features that he was not wanted there. My son gets a haircut every 3 weeks because this is his special time. We really don't have a set place because he likes to try new places and he likes to be around people. But this is the first time and everyone told me there's going to be an incident where it's going to be the first time where your child is not treated as an equal where his autism and his lack of verbal will make people uncomfortable. And today was that incident. I wasn't angry with the hairdresser. I was really uncomfortable and did call her out on how she seemed uncomfortable and how she didn't want him here and not once did she ever show compassion or any kindness or reassuring said hey you guys are welcomed. Instead she just stood off to the side even literally taking a step back and look down at us. Today was that day where I now realize we're different.

I'm not sure what this is but it's not what was asked for. This person should not be touching short hair if they can't trim and fade properly or evenly.
