“Great place to shoot guns, however I was disappointed that I couldn't shoot my Mossberg shotgun (with a legal pistol-grip knob stock) unless I change it to a full-size stock.”
“A superb experience; completely low-key, completely professional, completely knowledgeable, and great conversation! By far the smoothest interaction I have ever experienced; if you are looking for an FFL dealer, this is the one you want.”
“Great selection for both the public and law enforcement. Friendly staff who are knowledgeable and don't make you feel pressured or uninformed. Overall a great place to purchase a firearm and accessories.”
“Great local shop in Pleasant Hills.
City Arms East has a surprisingly great selection for a smaller store, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is knowledgeable, accommodating, and genuinely helpful without any pressure.
One of the best parts is the atmosphere — lots of good banter between the employees and customers. It’s the kind of place where you actually enjoy hanging out, chatting, and learning a thing or two.
If you’re looking for a solid local shop with great people and a welcoming vibe, this is definitely the spot. Highly recommend supporting them.”

“Mom and pop store. Not your big box sports plus consumer experience. This store is a rare bird in the wilds of California. The owners showed a ton of respect and polite service. The newest employee helped me and he did very well even when I pressed hard questions. I took a long time in the store never got hassled but was helped the second I asked. Huge selection, lots of used firearms too!”
