Rankin Aquatic Center is an amazing place appropriate for all ages, offering a welcoming space that is clean and not overwhelming. Toddlers have plenty of safe space to play in the pool's shallow area, which starts at 2 feet, while bigger kids have room for splashing. The separate splash pad is located right next to it. The facility is pretty small but perfect for the price, with water at a perfect temperature. Safety is a severe priority, with extremely attentive lifeguards on duty and very competent staff. The pool area is always clean. The center provides recreational swim, lap swim for those 16 and older, and water aerobics classes on a seasonal schedule. There is plenty of shade, though bringing your own umbrella or chairs is advised if arriving later. Visitors should bring food and snacks as there is no food court, only a vending machine. It is definitely worth a drive and a place families would definitely come back to.
