“If you are a Carroll Shelby fan, you really need to stop by. Very well curated museum with plenty of roving docents to answer any and all questions you may have. From the humble beginnings of the AC Ace to the world beating GT40’s, this pace has it all. Well, almost all, I was hoping they’d have a 289 FIA, with the “suitcase” trunk but considering how rare they are, not surprised they didn’t. I was fortunate enough to see one down in Pebble Beach years ago. Overall a great visit, very friendly people and some awesome cars.”

“We have used this center for four large family parties over the last few years. In October we had our latest party, an anniversary celebration for approximately 120 people.There was ample room to set up a photo booth in the foyer and a dj in the large dining room next to the dance floor. The bar and buffet area are nicely arranged to accommodate a nice flow of people between the dining tables. Party reservation and arrangements were done via the La Tapatia Restaurant connected next door. Lisa, the coordinator, was easy to work with and made sure all our needs were met. The food was delicious and the service staff was excellent. We would highly recommend this site and definitely plan to use it for future family events. “My husband and I had our wedding at Ruth Bancroft and it was a wonderful experience. After we initially toured the venue, we both immediately agreed it was perfect for us. The plants are incredible! We worked with both Tawny and Mary during the planning process and both were incredibly sweet and helpful. Emails were answered quickly, and they made it easy for me to schedule walk-throughs and our rehearsal. I will miss talking to both of them! The costs and available rentals were listed out and there were no surprises. We had our ceremony in the Eucalyptus Grove in the evening and it was perfect, especially with the sun peeking through the trees and plants. Our dinner and dancing were also outside, which was a big part of why we picked this venue. Who doesn’t want to dine and dance in a desert plant garden?! Our guests keep talking about how beautiful the venue was and I couldn’t agree more. I highly recommend Ruth Bancroft for events!”

“Fun local mini golf with other activities for adults and kids. We took our three young kids here and they had a blast! It wasn’t crowded and the holes and activities are all close so no long walking for the little ones.”

“It was a joy to have our wedding at the Gardens at Heather Farm!! The venue was absolutely gorgeous. Jenna was a great pleasure to work with -- she always responded promptly to my emails and questions, and she was so supportive and patient throughout the whole process. We wholeheartedly recommend the Gardens!”

“Gorgeous event for my daughter’s wedding. Many guests complimented the venue. The food was delicious -5 stars. Danville bakery did a great job on the cake- 5 stars. The florals were beautiful- 4.5 stars. The bridal suite & groom’s private rooms are top notch. They had access to the venue for two additional hours before the contracted event time. A few hiccups for me that made it a 4 star event. The “pick a seat not a side” sign. I would not recommend using it as in our case one group took most of the seating in both front rows. Also the front rows on the right side had a lot of sun and a little warm even on a mild day. There are empty urns everywhere that you have to fill with your own flowers or leave empty. That was another $100 for plants that we didn’t want to spend. Make sure you read the entire binder. We were caught off guard with the coordinator leaving during dinner with three hours left in the event. It turns out it was actually in the binder that the coordinator would leave mid event, however it was never mentioned in any of our meetings and we missed reading that part in the binder. The coordinator will provide you with a phone number to contact them during the event if you need anything however I only got a response to one out of three texts and that was an initial “test message”. There are several add ons available for a fee including faux wisteria, which was offered to us at a discounted price . We declined paying a couple hundred to add on faux floral and then it turned out to be free. Presumably the florist didn’t want to take it down and put it back up between events. We definitely enjoyed the free upgrade. My daughter was charged a delivery fee for her ceremony florals despite the florist already contracted to provide the reception florals through the venue package which I felt was an unnecessary up-charge. We ended up missing some low value personal items from the bridal suite (no one would have stolen them) and no one knows who cleaned up/cleared out the room at the end of the night. I would recommend multiple point persons for making sure you’ve got everything when you leave. Our one point of contact said she felt rushed out of the venue by the staff. It cost about $15,500 for the elite package for 68 people on a Sunday in March, not counting photographer, dance floor and all personal items we brought. We rented a 12 x 15 dance floor from Quantam rentals for $725. It ended up being just a bit too small for 68 people and if I had it to do over we would go with a 15 x 15 which would have fit with plenty of room to still have tables on both sides. Overall I would recommend Jefferson Street Mansion. It’s a beautiful venue!”

“It doesn't look like much when you drive up , but when you get inside , it is really beautiful . My Granddaughter was married there on June 20 . It was held outside . It was pretty warm out . I would have preferred some kind of covering. It was a small wedding so there was plenty of room . It was surrounded with beautiful trees and foliage. We had a great time”

“Having our wedding at Shadelands Historical Ranch and Museum was amazing. The venue itself is gorgeous, with incredible colors from the emerald lawn and giant trees to the explosion of roses around the gazebo! Our wedding was in May and all the flowers were in bloom, it was like a page from a storybook with hummingbirds and butterflies out and about enjoying the day too. Our guests kept raving about how beautiful and picturesque it was.

Christine and Jackie made it a very stress-free experience. We had a morning wedding with a group of about 80 guests, along with a buffet table, mobile barista, DJ and sound system, and plenty of room for our three photographers to easily maneuver to get their shots. (Will update later with some professional photos when those arrive!) The venue provides chairs and various sizes of tables all arranged to your liking, we requested that the lawn seating be set up for the ceremony and for the tables to be set up around the edge of the patio area and they had everything set up exactly how we envisioned, so all we had to do was come in and decorate. Event insurance is required, along with multiple contacts on hand. Contract and rates are very straightforward. While the magnificent trees cover a large portion of the grassy area, would recommend bringing your own canopies with weights if you plan to set up tables within the paved area. Overall a grand experience with the venue and welcoming staff.”

“Wonderful wine shop with a HUGE selection of reasonably priced wines, as well as a few $$$. The proprietor and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. I ducked in to grab a bottle and asked for a French in the $30-50 range was was pleasantly surprised when they recommended a $32 bottle instead of a $48 bottle. Way to make a sale and get a fan for life! They also do tastings, at least on the Friday I was there. I can't wait to go back and explore their selection more.”

“My kiddo has been on the swim team here since 2011. I was on the team when I was little. It's a great program. They just redid the restrooms. It's clean and well maintained. The only problem is the handicap parking is all the way around the corner by the senior center. They need more in front of the pool.”

Eric, our banquet captain, played an essential role in keeping everything on track during the reception. He ensured that things ran smoothly, that service was well-coordinated, and that our guests were well taken care of. His professionalism and leadership were greatly appreciated throughout the evening.

One unique aspect of this venue is that instead of a single coordinator, the planning and execution are truly a team effort. While this was initially unexpected, the coordination and teamwork behind the wedding were seamless and highly effective, proving that their system really works!

The entire team worked together flawlessly, making our wedding not only beautiful but also stress-free. If you’re looking for a venue team that can handle a large wedding with ease while still making you feel special and cared for, Kaitlin, Eric, Taylor, Christina, and Amanda are truly the best! “Saw the movie Weapons and it was great but the star of the show was definitely the theater itself. All the new upgrades made the experience top tier. I love the reclining seats, the full alcohol bar, the arcade, and they even have a picture booth. Make sure y’all go check this place out next time you want to see a movie!!!”

I believe art is about texture n the correct line that the inner of the art, should bring out the artwork from the middle outwards..Jus that's me anyways.I always carry some sugar n honey when I go to places that I never been b4. “IMHOWe came here for a private event, a family baby shower. This venue is huge! Before entering the building, a nice security guard greeted us and gave us options to get to the second floor, either elevator or stairs. We chose the wooden stairs! The whole venue has a cool, rustic feel with its wood and brick facades. My first impression was that they must've just freshly varnished the entire floor because that's what it smelled and looked like. Thankfully the smell didn't overtake the venue. The floor looked great! LOLThe family did all the decorating and provided the food. There is a small kitchen to do prep work. In the back there is a long bar area and a small stage. Table and chair storage holders are big and cumbersome and can't be camouflaged during your event. Bathrooms were slightly dated but brightly lit. They should update their bathroom stall latches to something other than hook and eye closures. Overall, a nice spacious area for your event.”

“I had two of my Daughters in adrenaline hip hop class and they loved it. It was super easy to get them in class first time is free to see if you like it after that it's very reasonably priced. Gee Gee knows her stuff and teaches in such a way that my kids easily picked it up. Fun family environment she is great with kids of all ages. The website is really easy to navigate around and get what you need. Highly recommend this for you or your kids. You will not be disappointed”

“We recently had my son's 5th birthday party here and had a wonderful experience. The staff take care of everything, which I wasn't expecting! And that included laying out table covers, having paper plates and napkins, checking guests in, receiving and bagging up gifts, distributing food, cleaning up. They were great with the kids and were so efficient in getting them from one place to the next! I received so many praises from the kids and from parents, many of whom said they didn't realize how amazing the relocated gym was. I highly recommend having a kids party here!”

“As a wedding photographer I work with many vendors but the Clubhouse at Boundary Oak stands out as one of the best in Northern Ca! The greens are beautiful and provide lovely backgrounds for photos. All of the food was exquisite and what impressed me the most was the ENTIRE staff! EVERYONE that works there is extremely professional and courteous (even to vendors).If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Bay Area be sure to visit the Clubhouse at Boundary Oak!”

“Went there about 4 or 5 years ago to do a ghost hunt. The people that work at the hall were very friendly and welcoming. The hall has a wonderfull history and I would like to visit here again. I still wonder what those odd boxes with numbers on them built into the wall was used for, no one there knew.”

“A very nice course next to the Lime Ridge open area. The greens and fairways are well maintained. There are currently improvements bring made to the driving range area so the whole range is unavailable until the beginning of 2025.”
