I can't get ahold of anyone about my move to a different state. How do I get my stuff transferred? Medical records etc. I'm running out of my medication. I've been trying to find out for months now.

The quality of VA medical Care in the last two years has completely went downhill I had an outside doctor resolve a medical condition I've been suffering from for 12 years got the VA was unable to help me resolve my outside doctor had it resolved in 5 months they have their own agenda at the VA and patient care is not one of them ! You almost have to get a second opinion with majority of a health situation when it comes to the VA ! And the repetitiveness is completely ridiculous they definitely need to listen to their patients a little more rather than follow through with their agenda and what the doctors are supposed to follow as far as guidelines it's not about the doctor it's about the patient and everyone is different patients are not the same freaking aggravating especially when the VA couldn't figure something out in 10 years and it took another doctor on the outside of the VA 5 months !!!

I was on a five-month waiting list to have kidney stones removed removed from both kidneys. A week prior to surgery I had to go to the Emergency Room in severe pain. The staff, nurses, and doctors were all fantastic. They treated me right away with great care and immediately got on the pain issue. Set me up with pain medication and discharged me. I was in great shape. Two days later I was back with the same problem, and the pain medication was ineffective. They greeted me ever so friendly, they took care of me immediately, resolved my pain issues, and ran a CT scan with contrast. They had me admitted to hospital where I had stents surgically placed. I was really impressed with the level of care and concern I received from everyone in the ER and the hospital staff. Surgery for stone removal went flawlessly as well, althoughI did get admitted to the hospital again. Hospital care was exceptional again. Very impressive!

I give it five stars due to the weekend radiology MRI department the two individuals that help me were absolutely professional and outstanding on 4 Feb 2023. The check in at radiology was absolutely awesome as well Thank you again !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thumbs up to Optical department, especially Jodi who found glass frames for a discontinued pair that I have been told by two other sources were not available. She is very friendly and helpful and didn't make me feel like I was causing her a problem. It's always nice when you deal with someone that gives you 100% attention. It is a rare quality today.

The level of care they provide my dad, a Vietnam Vet, is amazing. I know this is something that sound crazy, but they do far and away more in regards to care than other medical providers/hospitals have for him.

They keep canceling eye care department (ophthalmology. Made an appt 2019 canceled 2020 canceled 2022 canceled what the heck u only have one doctor 1 have 1 more 2023 want to cancel this one too so I don't have to drive 40 MI

I'd like to post a major concern about Nurse Serra Smith at the Sacramento VA hospital. I taught her daughter voice lessons in person and online for 3 years. During that time, her daughter experienced growth and in December of 2021, I received a phone call from Serra that she appreciated the growth and how encouraging I was to her daughter and considered me a "father figure" to her and she asked me to marry her. I was taken aback, to say the least, but it went on. She said she would do anything for her daughter and even offered me to marry her for the benefits she receives from her VA job. It was a very strange encounter and I luckily had a family member with me to hear the conversation. I politely and firmly declined and I should have ended the lessons there. My mistake to overlook and focus on not making it the daughter's fault for her mother's actions. I started getting more and more nervous and scared about the nature of the business relationship. Her daughter was very embarrassed about what Serra did. Over the next few months, more unreasonable demands were put on me as her teacher and she would come out to Vegas and visit my show and things just kept getting more and more unprofessional. A few months later, after more demands were placed on me, I emailed her back and told her I was no longer going to teach her daughter. It has gotten to the point currently where I do not feel comfortable as she has been recently posting about me online. Please steer clear of this nurse. I don't know if anyone else doesn't feel safe but know you are not alone.

It helps to be a veteran. I'm a veteran. I'm getting pretty good help. Covid has made everything harder, but they are careful about masking, etc. When I first got here,my cousin had packed (hidden!) my meds. I was new in town and came through the ER. My car had broken down! Getting all my refills took all day; they arranged for a ride home straight west into a gorgeous sunset. In the months since, they are addressing all issues. I have to be patient, but they do a great job.

I called the advice nurse for an emergent situation for my child. The person I spoke to was very nice but incredibly slow. The call lasted 41 minutes. That's crazy slow. I could a TV playing in the background. Ultimately, I was provided the assistance I was looking. I'm hoping VA management reads this post and provides regular training, monitoring of calls and feedback to your agents. That call took way too long. And I don't care if someone is working from home but I should not hear your TV. thanks for listening
