“Five stars is not enough. We recently went here for the first time ever, on an empty stomach, and we spent soooo muuuuch money! We were unprepared for the amount of good stuff in this store. Some of the prices are too high but for the most part there are a lot of good deals here. The entire place was clean and organized. I don’t remember how long the lines were but I never really pay attention to that. Overall, I am very happy to have found this place. We’re going to be here A LOT.”

I use to stay coming here at least 4 times a week . Since I’ve moved , I go when I visit the area . Always greeted by them with joy . Words can’t explain how I feel about this market. The community knows them and loves them !”
“My favorite place to get my smoothies ? but today I tried their Original Açaí thanks to bar server Daniel gave me some great recommendations this is their top seller and their Blue Magic. Love the on-the-go burritos ? they have in the morning & sometimes I’ll stop by for those. Overall great diverse grocery selection organic, Asian, European, Latin products, a bakery, and juice bar. Convenient early & late hour times. Highly recommend!”
“3.5 star rating. The chicken has a nice crispiness taste. Cornbread has a perfect hint of honey glaze. Pricing is great for your wallet, where you get a side and cornbread with most orders. You can easily get a good size combo for under $10. The sides are pretty good portions.”
“The prices are attractive but it depends on which products, Walmart does better and cheaper. You can find everything you need there, a fairly interesting choice of vegetables and fruits at reasonable prices and the same for chips for example.”
“I've been going here for years and love this market. everyone's super friendly and you get to know peoples names are really fantastic little community market. The butcher department is great and the wine department is also super if you ask them to carry something for you sometimes they will how cool is that?”

“I like this particular ALDI’s it’s almost never crowded and the parking lot is HUGE. The baskets are always in place and I never had a squeaky or lopsided one which is great.It’s clean inside and they always stocked up on wipes to clean your basket.The veggies and fruit are always fresh. The shelves are nicely organized and clean. It’s clean everywhere in there. Customer service is good. The only thing is that prices are although good and fairly low price they are raising. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because they had no baggies for the veggies/fruit all of them were empty. But in general it’s a good store.”
“I went in August for my boss who sent me for goat meat. I was so impressed with the customer service. My boss wanted to speak to somebody and the gentleman cashiering took his call on my mobile phone, while speaking to him, went around his store, picking out the items he requested. I am so thankful for this wonderful experience of my boss being treated with respect and hear his sweet voice in his Hindi language. Thank you!! Also, returned again a couple weeks ago and received the same experience on my own. I got the Indian tea and some Pakistan chocolate cookies and the nice man cashiering said that I picked a good choice. The cookies were delicious. Thank you.”

“I can't believe I'm barely discovering this place! Where have I been?! I feel disappointed in myself as an Argentinian for not finding this place sooner lol This little market is truly a treasure . Authentic imported Argentinian goods at a reasonable price, delicious, empanadas, good quality sandwiches de miga and good quality meats. The bakery is delicious and has a wide variety of pastries, little pansitos, hot sandwiches, and empanadas. They also have fresh bread! I highly recommend Next time I'll take some pictures of the empanadas”

“Despite the inconvenient parking, California Market deserves a five-star rating. The food court has improved, though it could offer more variety. The cashiers are friendly, and while some items are pricier than other Korean markets, the quality is worth it. The standout feature is their homemade banchans, especially the kimchi, which is among the best in town. Highly recommended for a taste of authentic Korean flavors!”
“This location is okay. I did notice a few differences from my main store. For example, some items were less available than others but had a better selection. Some self-space seemed a little bare and wasn't as organized. But in general, it is a budget-friendly place to shop. The staff was nice, and the check-out process was quick.”
“Oh my gosh aldi is amazing, the prices are decent, and the quality of their meats, vegetables, ice cream and snacks are terrific, if you're into keto then aldi is the place to go. Their customer service is friendly, kind, and helpful, they also sell items like rugs, dishes, a bunch of miscellaneous items that you may need, like electric heaters, cooling fans, there's so much I can't name them all, while everyone else is raising prices aldi stays ahead of the game by sticking to low prices and great quality.”
“We decided to try and make Lebanese food for NYE and needed ingredients not easily found at our usual grocery stores so we came to Jon's. What a fun grocery store! It's filled with all kind of goodies and staples from across the globe. On this trip we tried to stick to just the ingredients we needed for our NYE recipes but we did manage to put a few other extras in the cart...like Annato and Sazon. Jons has so many different types and brands of Annato...I was like a kid in a candy store...actually our entire experience was like that. We'll definitely be heading back soon to see what other yummy goodies we can find.”
“If you are ever in the Montebello area you must visit this family owned Armenian market. They carry puri bread from the famous San Fernando Valley Victory Bread bakery brought in fresh daily. They also sell homemade hummus, tabouli, dolmas and other items. They have a great assortment of feta cheeses. The owners are the sweetest!”

“I am Frederick Martin. I am Security Officer. I worked at the CVS on Hoover and Washington. One day on my way to work I stopped in this market, and I was blown away. The meat department selection was amazing!!! The meats in that department were the best I had had since I been in Los Angeles and the meat butchers cut any of the meats just the way you like it. One other thing, I have a thing for all vegetables. Yummy.The produce was so superb!!!!. It was so fresh and beautiful, and the produce clerks are always attending to it. Damn near want you to eat it raw right then. I need to mention something else about the meats, once you freeze it and thaw it out, it doesn't get tough to whereas you have to 'doctor' it up, nor does it lose its original taste or texture. All of the staff are so very friendly and helpful too. Even outside in the front of the entrance they have more produce of fruit and it's all well taken care of. You can't find one rotten piece, not like in your major chain markets. Now yes, parking is an issue, because the strip mall is very small, but right across the street is a Subways and a laundry mat where you can park. With that being stated this is a community-based area and they really support their businesses. No hassle. I brag about them and support them 1000%.”

“Like this store. I've been going here for several years now. Although there is a closer store of this network. Convenient location of goods. There are always lots of promotions. Large assortment, you can find almost anything. There are also bulk products such as meat, chicken, fish, salads, pickles, cold meats, cheeses and sweets. You can say no cons, except for ever-growing prices, but this is clearly not a question for the store.”

“A fancy Aldi that has Self-checkout which makes things faster. I went on a noon weekday & there were so many peeps doing their grocery shopping, I guess Alhambra is a pretty well-off neighborhood to have so many customers & self-checkout. I like looking at the weekly Wednesday Aldi finds but I guess since this Aldi is so busy, many finds get sold out quicker. Grocery prices are still the same across all Aldi. I think since there's self checkouts there was much less waiting for 1 cashier to scan your items, tho there is still at least 1 cashier line in case you want them, Aldi cashiers are already on a timer so they are kinda forced to be fast.Nice bathroom, quick service even with lots of customers, same items as other Aldi.”

“Come here for the snacks and drinks. Nice little place that is kept clean and up to date. There are groceries you can buy like vegetables and bacon and milk and they are always fresh and same as you'd get from the supermarket so that's convenient. I like their candy selection too.”
