5 stars for the museum itself and 1 star for customer service!I took my son and niece on Black Friday to the museum. I am a member of NARM, and the woman refused to honor it citing that my home museum is within 15 miles so only the railroad museum will take my card.I pulled up the NARM website and showed her that museums marked with an asterisk on the website don't honor home museums within 15 miles and that the Aerospace museum did not have an asterisk, allowing me to use my card. She told me oh well, it'll be $27 and I'll talk to someone else about it.My in-laws go there and use their NARM cards and have never been questioned. If the NARM website is incorrect, then the museum should have honored my membership and fixed the issue on the website. Not sure why this is such an issue!

Great for airplane and space ? nerds. I mean that with a lot of love. Some great old planes. Too bad some are in really sad shape. The loaners, I guess, from the military mothball fleet.

A great museum. There is a flight simulator upstairs. Is not easy. The Starfighter is a two-seater and was N. Armstrong's training aircraft. For the purpose of flying to the moon.

my husband and i are spending a week in northern california and found this museum during our stay in the sacramento area. if you're looking for something fun to do, love planes, and want to meet amazing people i HIGHLY recommend visiting the aerospace museum.ella immediately made us feel welcome the second we walked in through the doors. she was super knowledgeable on the planes on display, gave us her recommendations on what to see, and was just an absolute joy to talk to. if we had more time in california i probably would have wanted to spend another month just hanging out and talking to her.rowland, one of the employees on the floor inside the museum, was happy to share his expanse knowledge on everything there is to know about planes. if we had a question he had an answer.chris, one of the employees working in the air park, was essentially our own personal tour guide for all the planes in the outdoor area. he gave us so much information in detail, told us so many stories, and really made us fall in love with the planes.every single employee was clearly passionate about the museum and the planes which made the experience a whole lot more enjoyable and memorable.the planes themselves were incredible--not often will you be able to see so many historical masterpieces in one place. words cannot descible the overhwelming feeling you'll get when you get to see these planes up close.

If you are an aviation enthusiast and love to get up and close with military hardware. This definitely is a place you should visit. In the hangar you have aircraft engines from the ages on display. The cut away sections of different modern jet cockpits was an incredible experience. There are guided tours if that's the route you want to go. I got my self a map of the exhibits and used my trusty phone to get all the pictures and Google for more information on the planes. I believe they have special events where they actually unlock the planes and the public can get into them and explore. They also have special programs for kids. Great place for those little curious minds and for adults alike.

A hidden gem in North Highlands, close to the old McClellan AFB. So much to see! Rocket and plane engines, war and space memorabilia, and planes and jets in the outdoor yard.

Now that expectations have been adjusted; hopefully, the next visit won't be as disappointing . Let's start at the entrance: the cashier team could at least demonstrate some attention to folks paying for admission.I've always enjoyed this museum.... taking my sons there when they were young. I was excited to take my grandson.... and had told him that we'd be able to get into many of the planes. Except... that's no longer the case! Evidently, now, the only time one can enter the aircraft is during an occasional special event. Would have been nice to have known that! Look, we had a nice time; just had to lower our expectations.

Took my son here. He was free. I was 15 bucks. We live the planes. There's a kiddo zone upstairs and a flight simulator area for when you ejected the kids with mom. Love talking to all the old timers and hearing their adventures. The Chow at the Old Crow is priced well. We had a Ham and Cheese Panini, a cheese pizza coke, and a lemonade for 22$. Spent 3 hours here, then ran off the carbohydrates at the big play park adjacent to the Museum. Time we'll spent.

This is one of the best museums my family and I have ever been to. My 13-year-old and 10-year-old both enjoyed it very much. There is a flight simulation room upstairs, and they got a chance to learn how to fly. That was a big bonus, on top of the awesome aircraft in and outdoors.

Went for the "Wings and Wheels" show, but was disappointed because the car show wasn't there or was already over. The museum and the planes were very cool and a lot of educational information. War planes, aerospace rocket and engines, hubble telescope, play area for kids, flight simulator and the gift store...was all pretty cool!Price for entry: $15Ticket type: Adult......Kids were less and senior and veterans discount available
