The employees are all great. The pharmacists are nice. But I'm going to transfer my prescriptions to Rite Aid because the CVS in McKinleyville closes at 6 PM. I'm really sorry you guys are not doing some good business out here in Mckinleyville but thanks.

There are some incredibly nice employees here especially in the pharmacy. When I wasn't able to pick up my much-needed prescription at another local location that was 'closed' that day (due to who knows why)? they filled both of mine and had them ready within an hour even though they were completely slammed with other prescriptions from the closed location. That is excellent customer service, and being that they prioritized mine even though I'm not a regular made me feel really good, even though I was about to fall over from a migraine. Kudos!

Needed a good herbal remedy, so I went to CVS. The store was practically empty of customers and the two employees were very happy to help me. I shopped for the product before asking for help and couldn't find it, when I asked for help both of them were extremely interested in finding the herb. I was very happy with the way they handled my situation. Happy customer service ?

They spent an entire hour on the phone and then decided to come in to see why they weren't answering. The girls said they don't have enough staff to answer the phones! Sounds like they have no problem just ignoring that customers I'm wasting valuable time! Switching pharmacies!

Pharmacist Justin Otting was extremely rude and unprofessional during my interaction with him. He apparently feels it's his duty to talk down to and belittle people picking up medication. My experience with him was so poor that I have switched pharmacies and will no longer be using CVS!

For 3 straight days and waiting from anywhere to 30 minutes up to an hour CVS Pharmacy will not pick up their phone. I have a prescription that I have to take daily and I ran out and I guess will try to switch pharmacy's that have better customer service. I realize that I should not have let my prescription get so low before I reordered.

Unfortunately, this pharmacy/convenience store is part of a nationwide conglomeration , and that includes its website that offers Covid shots... DON'T BELIEVE IT--THE COVID APPOINTMENT "SERVICE" ON THIS WEBSITE IS A FRAUD DESIGNED TO JUST GET YOU INTO THE STORE!! My wife and I chased around the Eureka area to two CVS locations yesterday, after making online reservations for a Covid booster--only to find "No shots today" signs posted in each location. The reason, at least per the pharmacist at the second location (in Eureka proper) was staffing shortages--so WHY doesn't the corporate website have this information? It does, however get it totally backwards: it takes 15 full minutes to fill in all the information requested, including all those tiny codes on the insurance cards. My wife was able to get her shot earlier at the Arcata location, but it all came apart with mine. Advice: physically go into the location you want to use, and ask about staffing issues that would interfere with getting your shot.

I'm writing this as I hang up after my 57th minute on hold for the pharmacy. I don't know why I'm trying. I cannot remember the last time they've picked up the phone. Its conveniently located but aside from that I cannot EVER reach them by phone. I always have to go down there in person to get any questions answered.

Terrible staff, a bunch of racist Karen's who hard-core discriminate against Native peoples. We went there to buy a COVID test and were harrased and not allowed to use the restroom. The supervisor was even worse and when I complained she said go use the d*** bathroom and get out then. I had my two little children with me.

Stay away from this place if you need medicine prescriptions!! It's a giant corporation that deliberately bought out our smaller local, family-owned drug stores (that delivered right to my door for free), then shut them down. Today an automated call came to the house from CVS saying my prescriptions were ready. When I went to pick them up, there was an EIGHT CAR LINE UP at the drive through window!! I waited for 35 minutes, then when it was finally my turn, I was told that they had no prescriptions for me! This is CRAZY-making! The gal said she would "go look" and I waited 5 more minutes and when no one ever came back, I drove away. I am transferring my prescriptions to Rite Aid even though I was with them before and they were bad, they were no where near as bad as this!

I had to switch to CVS a year ago following a change in my Part D insurance. Unfortunately, my experience has been less than satisfactory. The overwhelming majority of my prescription refills have encountered some kind of glitch and is usually met with the quizzical stares of "Hmm, that's weird," to "It's our computer system." Methinks it's usually due to human error. And yes, since the start of Covid everyone in the pharmacy seems harried and overworked, but the continual error "fixing" probably takes up more of the workday than it should. Oh, and they NEVER answer the phone and CVS provides no online way to resolve an issue.

good service, nice people work here, and easy to get all of your prescriptions (or most) all done here. They also let you know when the prescriptions are in automatically-which is super helpful.

I made the painful mistake of taking the prescription for my pain medication to be filled there after surgery for a ruptured appendix. it is now 5 hours later, I am in pain and I still don't have my prescription filled. I called the pharmacy and remained on hold for about half an hour before I just gave up and sent my son to stand at their counter until they respond. When I dropped off my prescription I was told 2 hours. I was told to stay on top of my pain management. but it's hard to do when the pharmacy takes their time on filling a prescription.
