The location is great, close to the city and main attractions, with convenient amenities like a nearby supermarket. The gardens are beautiful and the overall atmosphere is charming and joyful. Some minor downsides include no cell phone coverage, weak Wi-Fi in areas, and a lack of air conditioning. Housekeeping is by request only. While some find it a bit pricey, most agree the experience is hard to beat, with many guests planning to return. The inn is recommended for its perfect location, cozy feel, and breathtaking setting.
We come to Mendocino often, and Agate Inn is always our favorite place to stay. It’s charming, peaceful, and consistently clean and comfortable.
