Terrible service! Unfriendly staff, yelling at us while trying to shop there. No, thank you! Better to buy your furniture elsewhere!

Absolutely the place to go for unfinished slabs and wood pieces of all sizes.

It's a great source for large and small slabs of high quality redwood. Anderson also did beautiful custom tables and had a gallery of fine woodworking.

If you love wood you'll love Anderson's. Buy your own slab for a project or purchase one of their beautifully crafted pieces. Worth a look.

Great place for reclaimed wood and slabs, we came here looking for a live edge slab to use for a bar top. Jarrett was extremely helpful over the two days we came in. We ended up finding a maple slab that is perfect for our application and placed a deposit. This is really the go to place in northern California for live edge slabs

Raw live edge slabs for sale, or buy a finished piece made by local artisan. Can be pricey, but that's par for the course with live edge wood. They allow dogs inside! ðŸ•

tried to walk in at 5:15 and we were greeted with a terse "We're closed". then maybe you should update your hours. yelp says you close at 5:30. looks like a nice place but can't confirm that.

Incredible selection of wood here. Such a rare, amazing store to come upon in a tiny town like Mendo. Got some fantastic redwood slabs and turned them into side tables.

What a treat! Loved the atmosphere of slabs of raw wood, floor to ceiling, and the smell of the wood. Then I wandered into the showroom and saw the slabs turned into tables and bowls and more. I fell in love with an old growth Redwood root that had gone through a fire. An artisan had lovingly turned it into a mirror. I took it home where I'll love it. Don't miss this store.

Fascinating store; you have the opportunity to see the raw wood pieces, and also examples of finished products in the back room. Both the owner and staff member were really friendly and helpful and patient answering all of our questions about the wood.
