So grateful this old school health food store is still thriving! Their produce is the best in town. Dates, raw nuts, etc. are fresher since they refrigerate them. Employees are helpful, and they own the place. Mendo at its finest!

Great store. Great products. Great atmosphere. Beautiful venue. Jesus doesn’t live in buildings, He lives in hearts who’ve made Him Lord of their life

Not entirely ADA accessible but that is part of what gives this little natural grocer its charm. Great options for a small footprint. Love the herb/tea spot overlooking the rest.

An excellent local store that sells high quality items, especially vegan options. Great for tourists who only need a small amount of stuff to get through a trip. But it can get pricey if you choose to make this your number one grocery place for an extended period of time.

I started coming here about 40 years ago. At that time, stores carrying food and products like this were few and far between. Nowadays it's much easier to find many of these items, tho' the breadth and depth of their tea and spice collections is amazing. Even if you're just visiting or passing through Mendocino, this place is definitely worth a stop.

We like to support local when we can. Stopped in for a few items. Lots of vegan options.

My favorite store for food and herbal medicine (including pre-made CBD products but not THC cannabis). The people are lovely! It's easy for people with various food needs to find lots of choices here including almost everything being organic, lots of GF, Keto vegan, etc. They have experts available some days and times for Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Ayuvedic and Chinese medicine and if nobody is currently serving a particular need they can refer to professional practitioners.

The cashier followed me and my sister out of the store because he thought we stole something ?

Has bread from Fort Bragg Bakery (soooo good!), lots of bulk items, more tea choices than you can imagine (upstairs), and tons of other things! They definitely don't let the small space limit the variety of products they carry! Great little shop!

Discriminate against those with disabilities. I was discriminated by this store horribly. I have a service dog and was refused service when visiting from out of town. I can not eat in restaurants and this was my only option to purchase water in the evening and a packaged item of food to bring to my hotel. I was unable to do so because I was yelled at "no dogs in here" as soon as I stepped in the door. I tried to explain he is a service dog and the cashier would not have it. The cashier continued to speak over me “no dogs, no dogs” and ushered me out. Corners of the Mouth violated my rights by refusing me service. I hope my experience can be a warning to others.

This store discriminated against those with disabilities who require service animals. They refuse service to customers, violating their rights. They could improve by allowing all customers to shop, regardless of ability.
