When I entered the bookstore, I was greeted by a friendly dog and a welcoming store owner. I found a nice selection of books on both the first and second floors. I discovered several neat books I'm excited to read and purchased them at good prices.

Visited Mendocino for the first time and browsed the used books at the Main St Bookshop. Two floors of used books sorted by subject. I just kept looking until finding something. I'm part way through a book I would have never thought to read, but found it here. Book lovers, come browse! And give the dog a pat.

Amazing little shop, an absolute gem.The owner is so nice, and he’s very easy going. Their dog is very adorable as well. They have a great selection of books on a variety of topics, you’ll find something for everyone

Mendocino is a small town filled with independently owned shops such as this used book store. Small, 2 story building crammed with used books from floor to ceiling.This is a true gem. Wish I stumbled upon this shop earlier, I could browse for much longer than a few hours. He says he's been open for 21 years. The shop dog is a bonus!

Lovely bookstore. The kind you don't find anywhere these days. It has a great selection of books in all categories including children's. Very clean and thoughtfully designed. I could have spend hours in there if my son hadn't wanted to go back to the hotel. We bought two books.

Great selection used books in a Whimsical jumble of loose categories. I found a couple of things for eight dollars each I'm really enjoying reading. If you're traveling and forgot your book this is the place to go!

What a gem of a bookstore! It is open (Jan-2021) and Carl and his dog Buddy are there to greet, serve, and find the book you seek. Wear a mask and enjoy the plethora of books, old and new, on the shelves! Carl found me a great local mountain biking book that is out of print.

Classic small bookstore vibe. Two levels, comfortable and inviting. Good people that have been there over 20 years. I'll be coming back for sure.
