I stumbled upon Meyer Family Cellars tasting room while visiting Mendocino on a holiday from my home in Napa. Just a little curious “who is making wine in Mendocino” I strolled in and met none other than Kacy, just an amazing representative of the Meyer family, and a lovely lady gifted in, what we call in the industry, just a great way with people.
Extremely knowledgeable, and as friendly as you could ask for. She explained everything about the family, their roots and the industry, and about all the different lines we tasted.
Will definitely return every time. I’m in Mendocino do the same! if they had more than five stars, I would give it all. Cheers.

Stopped by for a tasting towards the end of the day. Kacy couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Walked us through the flight and gave us great information on the specifics of each wine. Learned a lot about the region, the vineyards and the family. Had a great time going over the tasting notes and comparisons with Kacy. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent tasting (private! Since we were the only ones that day) Casey our hostess is who made our visit a great one-informative and shared insights on this region/new to us. Took home 3 bottles, only because of Casey. Thank you for spending quality time with us (not just for a quick taste or sell) Cute little spot for our first visit to Mendocino.

We stumbled upon Meyer Family Cellars while on a hiking trip, and were surprised to find a rich history and amazing wines. The Meyer family were behind the vision, winemaking, and even the logo of the famous Silver Oak Vineyard in Oakville. In 2001, the Meyer family sold their stake in Silver Oak and committed to their own vineyards. As you can imagine, the wines are incredibly delicious for such a low-key, off the beaten path spot. Highly recommend stopping in!

In my first trip to Mendocino, we found this delightful tasting room in downtown. Our hostess Kacy was beyond awesome and took super care with our group. Their Pinot Noir and Syrah offerings were beyond exceptional!

great experience with my gal pals in november of 2020. this past one 2 days ago ( 7/12/21) was frightfully mediocre. the guy who helped us was fine, but seemed more attentive to the middle aged white couple, than to my sister and i. to top it off, he refused to let me use the restroom. he cited the severe drought and the fact that they were on a well as the reason. (meanwhile, there is a public restroom a few blocks down the main drag that is open to all) the woman who was there in november let us use the restroom with zero questions. we bought several bottles of wine in both cases, but it was a definite drawback to serve us wine and deny us use of the bathroom that we know existed. so yeah, good wine, but weird no toilet sitch.

The Meyer Family from Silver Oak have a new venture in Mendo on Main Street. Fun to sit outside on the patio and taste the wines. The grapes are from all over wine country and they have a map where all of the grapes are from. We passed the winery on our way to Mendocino and they were closed so we were thrilled to try the wines in town. Our host host Casey was fabulous! We will be back!

A little disappointed with the overall experience. This specific location is extremely small and has little seating in their backyard with zero views. Nothing for the kids to do. The wine itself was ok but probably the smallest servings of wine we've seen in all our wine tasting experiences.

Fun experience at Meyer's tasting room in downtown Mendocino. We were able to make a reservation with Kaycee (sp?) on Friday for late Saturday afternoon. She also served us our wine during the tasting. All wines were delicious and we loved the Pinot and port so much that we we bought two bottles each! Hope to make it back again soon.
