We ate both lunch and supper here while staying in Mendocino. The cod fish and chips, clam chowder and Angus burger were all excellent. Only drink we had was an Irish mule that was very tasty.

Arrived to our Airbnb after dark in the rain. Saw this on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Crowded when we arrived around 7. Friendly staff welcomed us in. Ordered 1st round of drinks and had a table available before they were empty. My GF ordered their spinach salad with blackened cod added, I had the smoked tri tip sandwich. We loved everything!! Great pub experience. Very cozy atmosphere. Felt right at home. Hated to leave.

It'd be helpful to specify that the kitchen closes at 9pm ("winter hours"). Having 11pm listed as the closing hours on Google is incredibly misleading.

Oh the pork tenderloin brie sandwich with sweet potato fries! I plan to eat through the entire menu if it takes the rest of my life.

What a fabulous hidden gem! Irish pub atmosphere with gourmet food. Add cozy garden seating in an utterly gorgeous setting. Then add a deep beer and wine list and perfect service at reasonable prices. Well, what do you get? A win for everyone!! Go - I loved the smoked pork tenderloin with brie sandwich with sweet potato fries. I intend to sample the entire menu.Parking: Loads easyKid-friendliness: No one under the age of 21.

First, good things, courteous hosts, servers, ambience, nice cozy outdoor seating. The Asian salad was the only savior and a little bit of the sweet potato fries.Second, bad things, food. You have ONE, well called out vegetarian dish for $18!!!! A Vegetarian Wrap. At least have the decency to put what's been called out in the ingredients, what was served did NOT include bell peppers, almonds and avocados as called out in the ingredients. It was a lousy wrap with lettuce and tomatoes, laced with some remnants of guacamole. Portion size is less than mediocre, I'm not asking for a generous portion but the least you can do is offer a decent portion for $18!!!!We get it, you cater to a larger audience of meat eating patrons. BUT, you called out a specific vegetarian dish, the least we ask for is for you to do justice for it.We are thankful for the staff who shaved off 7.50, which was a nice gesture. However, not after being asked twice, what did we do wrong for you to not tip us, in spite of providing the feedback on the food served to us. It is not okay to try and shame/guilt the customer after having done such a subpar job at the basic food being served, or lack thereof.Vegetarian options: Subpar vegetarian option of what we tried.

French dip was gas! Tons of meat, fresh bread, au jus full of flavor. Best clam chowder I have ever had.

Best clam chowder! Touch of dill and lots of clams. Get the cheese toast to go with. Smithwicks Ale to pair.Reminds me of Ireland.

Last night we went here for dinner. The food is absolutely amazing in this bar. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and a garden salad. My boyfriend had fish and chips with some clam chowder. The people there are nice and the atmosphere is pretty cool. They have a moose head in there with a sombrero hat on him. Right outside they have old seats candlestick park pretty cool I must say. Would come here again and again. I even got some chocolate gelato for dessert to celebrate my birthday.

At first glance it appears to be a typical dimly lit dive bar but the place is really warm and fun! Great service, clean place and the food is totally top tier! They got a real chef back there cooking up quality nosh as good as any you will find! Fish'n chips, fettuccine Alfredo, empinadas, fried calamari, some of the best New England clam chowder I've ever had and I have sampled over a hundred along the entire west coast from San Diego, CA to Skagway, AK. I know my chowder. Patterson's also has a fantastic beer wine and liquor selection. I was truly impressed by there array of Scotch whisky. That's my jam!Vegetarian options: There are a few.Dietary restrictions: Some accommodations might be made.Parking: Parking is available.Kid-friendliness: No. This is a bar. A place for adults.Wheelchair accessibility: Might be a little tricky.

It's a small restaurant so get there early if you want a table. Food was good and I'd eat there again.
