“I went into this Menifee location right after they opened on a Friday morning and went straight to the meat department. I had recently purchased a dehydrator and wanted to make some homemade beef jerky. I had researched the best jerky cuts like top round, eye of round, and London Broil but was still unsure of the best choice. A butcher came out from behind the counter with some packaged meats to display and you could tell that he was very busy and already working hard even though the place had just opened. I got his attention and he immediately stopped what he was doing and got very engaged in helping me, showing me the different cuts, and what would be best for my homemade jerky. Then, he went to the back and returned with a huge quarter portion of fresh beef, and sliced off the exact amount I needed in the perfect thickness for my jerky. This employee was so kind and helpful. An Outstanding individual and employee! I later bumped into the Manager and told him about my positive experience. He said, oh, that's Ruben Chavez, I'll let him know. Great job Stater Bros!”

“I used a coupon to order food from the restaurant that was inside the store. It was my first time and the food was outstanding. They had the best carne asada I've ever had. They make there own tortillas and have grilled jalapeños and onions. On top of that they have fresh fruit and agua frescos.”

Prices overall are comparable to FoodsCo but if I could tell you the meat counter is full scale freshest of fresh meat, fruit and veggies, oh covers most cultures AND the employees are happy! “I've been shopping this location since it was open. The employees here are very attentive and also very nice, and always clean. I have noticed the store has been cutting quite a few items over the past couple of months. You can't tell by looking at the shelves, because their always stocked well. I will mention 2 items missing on my last ( twice a week) shopping. This one really got me because it's their store brand. Wide Awake Cold Brew Coffee. They have other brands, but they dont even come close to the one now missing, very depressing to me. The other item I didn't find was MOTHER'S' cookies ( English Tea) If they would bring the coffee back I would give them a great big 5 stars. Here is an idea for the Management to consider: If a product isn't selling well enough maybe you should do a taste comparison( with management staff) along with the other brands you sell. If you did so you would find out that your store brand was the best! (I've already done it, starbucks was ok, but the others were really bad.) Then maybe get with your vendor and arrange a tasting for the customers very close to the refrigerated aea where it is sold. I'm very sure this would show the cold brew drinkers who has the best! it's your own brand Thanks for the time.”

“I have been coming to this store since we moved here 8 years ago, I was greeted by Cindy B and from day one I felt at home! I love that you have no self check out lines ,so I can appreciate the wonderful customer service provided by each and every one of the cashiers and baggers ... I have never ever have had a bad experience, from the bakery, the sushi, the meat department and the fruit department is all top notch in my book . I went in on a busy long line Super Bowl Sunday morning, but saw Cindy again, smiling , conversing, working hard and I was happy to be in her line to get that warm customer service from her ! Always pleased with Cindy and absolutely all employees here! Not to mention the best prices too! Please keep everything the same and don't ever get those self checkout lines, it's one of my main reasons I enjoy my hometown Stators!”
