The best staff and bank when you need any assistance that no other banks will ever offer or care as much as this bank cares for their members. The manager is my angel and went to bat for me a few times to fix a couple of issues. I would give 10 stars if I could

I just spoke to a representative by the name of Alicia who was extremely rude on the phone. She kept cutting me off and implying that I was at fault for not properly inputting my bank account number. I informed her that I only have the check that was given to me by Cal Coast and that's what I've been using to pay my bills. She apparently didn't understand so she was trying to have me go to the actual branch. Instead, I escalated this issue to the manager by the name of Letty over the phone. She was nice in the beginning but she also didn't understand what my problem was also implying that I may have used the account incorrectly or did not input the account number correctly. I am not stupid I know how to input banking account numbers. I've been paying via mobile banking for a long time and both of them implying that I did not do it correctly is just plain insulting and rude. If you want to have a nice banking experience with extremely high quality of customer service don't bank here! They are very rude!

This bank is difficult occasionally. In the 8 years I have been a member the recent has been the only time, but it's been extremely difficult. We have settled on a middle ground but there shouldn't have been any issues to start with. It's just ok. It's not free but you can use loyalty points which is just another thing I have to do. Bank is already making profit off us, it should be free. No worse than others but also no better.

Great serviceI was able to get what needed. Everyone was so friendlyI also got great advice on what was needed to address my issues.They also have great rates. This is a great place to get a loan from. They are normally .5 to 2 full point blow others

I have been banking with CalCoast for more than a decade and never had over draft or any bounce checks. Every month for two years my husband and I deposits business checks at calcoast and every time they want to pur a hold on it assuming we are floating checks. This bank made us feel they think we are criminals. The supervisor of the bank did not approve the check to be available because she said we have access to the other bank and might write another check. Basically accused us of potentially floating checks! For a year we deposited over $350k from our business to this bank and still judge us for depositing this much. I will call their corporate to complain directly. We are closing our account because this bank never takes care of their members.

Last month I applied for a Home Equity loan {25K), a week later I got an email telling me to turn in the rest of the application in or else they would cancel my loan. Since I turned everything in, I sent an email telling them to cancel my loan. The next week I got an email saying my loan was being processed. Almost 2 weeks ago I got an email saying my loan was approved and someone from the loan dept. will contact me. I have sent to 2 emails asking for the status on my loan, which I still haven't heard nothing. I've had to use my credit card and savings to pay for some of the stuff I was going to use the loan for. i needed the money last month, not next month. All I wanted is an update when I can expect the money, but they can't even do that, so I guess I'll be using my credit card until I can get my loan.

Car shopping is grueling, but your auto loan can be easy! Cut the hassle, go see Marcy Riehm at Cal Coast CU in Menifee. She's professional, knowledgeable AND she has personally used Cal Coast's products and services, so she speaks with practical experience! Marcy made it possible for me to car shop with confidence. Furthermore, she was right on the money, the dealerships could not beat the rate I got from California Coast CU. Thanks Marcy!!!

Besides the atm being down from time to time. They have been great bank. Direct deposit hits a day early, any schools first atm works for them. Staff is incredibly helpful and applying for a credit card was a breeze without considering how great the interest rate is!

What a great experience we had! I missed getting the gentlemen's name who helped us on 7/16 last in the afternoon. My dad just passed away and I took my mom (who is not tech savvy) to help her get logged onto the accounts, so we could see automatic withdrawals my dad had set up. The nice man gave us the user name, changed email to mine (since my mom doesn't have an email), changed phone number to my mom's, and printed her a new debit card on the spot! Now we are able to log into the account, cancel auto payments she no longer needs, figure out what bills have been paid, and have control over the account. Thank you so much!

California Coast Credit Union has the best accounting tools to use while doing your online account. It allows you to make notations for tracking expenses and working out your budget! Best bank I have ever worked with!

I've been with this credit union since it was Santel, in San Diego. Although in the past I have had a couple of issues with the couple of changes that the CU has been through (particularly when it was First Future), I have stayed with them because it has always seemed easier to keep the account. After one particularly disappointing incident in 1997, I was about to switch to a regular bank (Washington Mutual), but after just 3 days I was already frustrated, and decided to give FF another chance, and also wrote to one of the CU's officers to tell of the unfortunate situation. They apologized and cleared it up, and I was once again back to using them full time. When I moved to the Temecula area, they finally opened a branch here (as California Coast CU) and a couple more popped up as well. I started banking at the various branches depending on whether I was at work, or elsewhere, and they've always been great (the branch by Sam's Club and the branch by Chic-fil-A in Murrieta), but the staff at Menifee has been awesome. A couple of times I was not pleased with some of the issues that came up, but that's typical in almost any type of 'relationship' with a business. It's how they handle it and treat you after that tells the story. Recently, an issue came up and I was very frustrated, I have small anxiety issues and it was a particularly stressful day for me, but the woman up front that helped me was patient and incredibly nice to me. I wish I got her name, but the truth is most people there have been absolutely great. I'm glad I've stayed with this Credit Union throughout the years... I think it's been about 30 years now.

Their ATM (they only have one) hardly ever works. Always down all the time, not to mention the WORST and slowest ATM's in the industry. When you go inside the branch they treat you like a criminal and tellers using a "Fishing Net" (dirty one too, that's not cleaned). The teller's and are listless and seem like they hate their job. There are more problems going on with management and higher up needs to be notified immediately. There are too many complaints on Google for them not to ignore.
