“I recently switched my PCM and asked my new doc to run a panel of routine lab work to make sure everything is running smoothly. I usually get sent to Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp, so this was my first visit here. It was a great experience! You'll find West Pacific Medical Laboratory on the ground floor in a building of medical professionals. The parking lot can get crazy packed, but it's big enough, and there's always a spot somewhere. Be sure you have your doctor's orders with you. I walked into an empty waiting room where I checked in on the kiosk, and Anna was running a one-woman show. She was great. Got me in and out in minutes. There were 2 other people who came in after me, but they left after me since I was chugging water to get that last sample out, lol. I had to go back the next day because apparently, the lab wasn't able to get the results they needed. Again, it was fast, and I left within minutes. Anna is a true professional. She poked me once each day and got what she needed. Last time I went to the other place, the phlebotomist missed 3 times before having someone else do it. I was bruised and purple for about 2 weeks, smh. Thank you Anna!! I highly recommend this place if you need labs done. They have multiple locations and no appointments are needed. Just walk right in! =)”

“I had an overall positive experience, and I especially appreciated how helpful and kind the technologists were. After registering at the kiosk, I briefly stepped out to my car because I had forgotten my order. While I was away, my name was called, and I received a text asking me to return to the lobby. The message specifically said not to register or sign in again, so when I came back, I noticed my name was still listed even though my appointment time had already passed.

The staff continued calling patients in appointment order, and I did not want to interrupt their workflow because everyone was being seen in a timely and efficient manner. Eventually, I asked a technologist whether I should reschedule since I had missed my time, and they were wonderfully helpful. They took me in and explained that they had planned to cycle back to check whether I had returned.

My only concern is that there does not seem to be a simple way to let someone know you have returned or to ask a quick question without interrupting the technologists as they work. While the technology is convenient, it should not completely replace the ability to speak with a person, especially in a healthcare setting. Sometimes patients need a small amount of human contact, guidance, or reassurance, and having that option would make the experience even better.”

“I have had blood work done here quite a few times. First time, I showed up early as a walk-in. It took about an hr to an hr and thirty minutes to get seen. I do suggest making an appointment. Techs have all been super professional. A quick in and out. Only reason I'm rating 4 was due to a mistake on their part. On one occasion my blood work came back inconclusive. They didn't store my samples correctly. The blood coagulated, so I had to redo my labs. Other than that, every visit had been great.”
