The woman with long brown hair is extremely rude. I placed an online order but they don’t have everything in stock (online it shows in stock). The woman refused to take the out of stock items out and refund me but ask me to cancel my order and
pay in store. The price in store is different with the price online. She kept saying “I’m tired” “I don’t want to do this”. I finally cancelled the order and place a second online order but the discount no longer works.

The service was very good, the cashier spoke Spanish and helped me with the questions I had. It was nice to be able to have help in my language (Spanish)

I will never go here again, they charge a lot more than other Ace storesThey also will not allow returns on any liquids containing chemicals so you buy can of paint then change your mind you are stuck with it

Rude and illegal behavior. The woman decided I was stealing, and started tailing me close up and unmasked, because I'm disabled and wearing an n95 I guess? I decided to just pay and leave and as I was trying to pay, the woman sticks her hand in MY PURSE and says what about this? At which point I just left. I realize reading other reviews that the two rude women must be related to the owner because there is no way you'd let a normal employee behave like that. They also don't meet ADA laws for accessibility. Nor do they give a ****.

If I could rate this store as zero stars, I would. They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The attitude of many of the employees is unbelievably negative. Multiple times, they refused to honor discounts and sale prices advertised for their store on their website. They refused to honor discounts and sale prices for Ace Hardware mailings with their store listed on the mailer. I've asked for the manager on multiple occasions and been told he was not available. I've shopped there almost weekly for many years. No more! Ace Hardware in Redwood City or Palo Alto is a much better option, with very helpful, upbeat employees and a much better selection.

This is literally the BEST Ace Hardware store I've ever been to! Not only are they well stocked, but everyone there is super knowledgeable and helpful. I came in with a damaged powerwashing hose and wanted to get a replacement and didn't think they'd have what I needed, but they had a few different hoses in stock. The connectors were different than what I had, so several people who work there wanted to help me figure it out. One of them (didn't get his name, but super smart and helpful), figured out that a piece needed to be removed from my hose and cleaned up in order to connect the new hose. He took a wrench and had a really hard time removing it because it was rusted, but after multiple attempts and lots of effort, he did it! Amazing service at this particular store!

Good service, good selection of products. Parking nearby. And they answer the phone, which is rare these days!

Menlo Park Hardware deserves a solid four stars for its reliable selection and helpful service. The store offers a diverse range of hardware and home improvement supplies, ensuring that most needs are met. Staff members are knowledgeable and willing to assist, making the shopping experience more manageable. The only reason it falls short of five stars is that occasionally prices can be a tad higher compared to larger chain stores. However, the convenience and the personalized touch they provide more than make up for it. It's a go-to spot for those tackling DIY projects in Menlo Park.
