I met with the manager Mark last week and was impressed with his attention to detail, keeping in-line best practices. This is an excellent store to visit if you have a woodcare project.

Rude service. Clerk mansplained me about paint quality, which shocked me since I had been going to Grey's throughout our 20+ year homeownership in MP. To add insult to injury, my negative review has been taken down twice.

There are loads of places to buy, but I keep coming back to Gray's Paint in MP because they're always so helpful and knowledgeable. "What do I need to paint concrete, metal, sheetrock, over old paint, etc.?", "Do I *really* need to prime that wall?", "Can you match this sliver of a paint chip?", "Which paint is the most forgiving for teenagers to use during a volunteer project?", and even: "Hey, would you mind putting this ridiculous paint that I bought somewhere else in your paint mixer/shaker for me?" These are all questions I've asked and had thoughtfully answered by William, Chris, Scott, Jose and Mark. Thank you. Every time I think I'm done painting, I end up doing it again and will be back every time.

What a great little gem of a store found in Menlo Park. If you are looking for paint samples, go now further, they have ready made samples of several Benjamin Moore colors, no waiting. Since we also live in Menlo Park, this is the practical choice for your supply of high quality, NO VOC Benjamin Moore paints. Service is helpful and courteous.

Super friendly employees! We were having trouble picking paint colors (man, they can literally change a few shades and hues depending on where you put them), so we were hoping to find some color consulting. We gathered as many samples as we could of the existing fixtures for comparison, and headed over after calling ahead about this issue we were having. We were greeted by one of the most jovial employees I've ever encountered, especially at a hardware, or paint store (to be fair I haven't been in many paint stores) and his enthusiasm for color theory was infectious. He wouldn't just play it safe either, he gave a nice wide set of recommendations on what we could do in terms of dark and light, undertones, what would go well with what existing fixtures we had. I would say his personality is perfect for the job.

Worked with Daniel to match a bunch of paint colors as I had a bunch of small patches to paint after some HVAC work. Friendly, informative, and efficient service with absolute perfect color matching to boot. Beats Home Depot (or anywhere else) for color matching hands down.
