A group of us stayed 5 nights to celebrate the New Year and attend concerts at the Guild. It was perfect for our group. There were spaces where we could all hang out together. The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was great. Everyone was happy with their experience. We would definitely stay there again.

Staying at this hotel for business, the room is very spacious. The room I got has two double beds, accommodating four people. The hotel has all the necessary amenities, and the front desk staff are very friendly. The hotel also provides breakfast with decent ingredients, though it's a bit simple with limited choices, and the breakfast options remain the same every day. They also offer complimentary freshly brewed coffee, which is a bonus.

Enjoy a real “live among the ants” experience(!) with a bonus performance by a careless staff.See the attached video, which is for the desk where I’m supposed to work. I was going to film the bathroom ant festival too, but those were red ants and they climb my leg when I try to get close.On my 1st and 2nd days, I asked the staff to fix the issue, to which they responded “maintenance will take care of it” without any sign of apology, empathy or gratitude for my understanding. Then they proceeded to never fixing the issue or offering an alternate room.? ? ? So if that’s what you’re into, then go ahead and book a roo-oo-oom. Cha-cha-cha ? ? ? ???

Well located clean and quiet hotel. Staff was accommodating and responsive. Stayed on a weekend and had the outdoor seating with fire pits to ourselves. Excellent value with free parking and breakfast included

I am writing this review and I am not sure if we will survive and come out alive from this hotel. We booked through @orbitz two double bed rooms however upon arrival when we were allotted our booked room and we came to it, we found someone else is already staying in that room. We went to the reception to speak with a very rude person who took forever to come and confirm what we already told them. We were then assigned two separate rooms on the upper level and while this hotel has wheelchair accessible signs posted everywhere, we didn’t find any elevators or ramp to go upstairs and no assistance from the hotel staff to go upstairs. We moved upstairs somehow and then went out for dinner. We were unpleasantly shocked upon our returning that our room doors were open and ajar. We went to the reception and complained about it and asked for security camera footage to know who entered the room, we were denied access to security footage. We are writing this review for others to read though we are not sure we will come out alive from this hotel. We request readers to call the local police to send help. We are traveling from abroad and don’t know how the police comes to help in the USA? This hotel is definitely not the best and safe place to visit. Our safety will determine how safe is USA ?

We slept 2 nights at Lucent.
The welcome is perfect, the ladies are adorable.
The rooms are clean, the bedding is correct.
The outdoor space is very pleasant and we were able to enjoy the terrace and the swimming pool as much as we wanted, even to have a meal (microwaves available.)
Little extra: the breakfast which is TOP in my opinion.
Pancake machine!!
Coffee machine available 25 hours a day
Included in the room price
I recommend !!

My hubby and I booked this hotel because it's near Stanford hospital. It's only 2 miles away. We checked in after 4 and we originally got room #201 and it was not good. It was a cold day and the heater was not working. Not to mention your right next to el Camino rd and it was super noisy all we could hear is all the traffic. The gal working front desk was kind and moved our room to #217. What a blessing. We couldn't hear the traffic noise. However it is right next to the staff room and about 9am it got noisy. We could here all the noise from housekeeping rolling the carts. So this is not good if you prefer to sleep in. The rooms are decent. They look updated. They are on the smaller side. There is a tv, mini fridge and Keurig in the room. The bathroom is nice. Has shampoo & conditioner. It's a nice and simple room. The bed was decent. Complimentary breakfast is always nice. There was cereal, muffins, eggs, sausage, and a pancake maker. And the best part was the Starbucks coffee. Safe way is walking distance and there is a fish restaurant at the corner. Parking is free it's a smaller hotel so the parking lot is really small. I'm giving 4 stars would give 5 if there wasn't so much noise from house keeping.

Went in to ask about prices and to check out the lobby. Desk clerk would not stop surfing internet and mak tenance person stared at me disapprovingly. I'm a Stanford regular who was shpping for a hotel for when I have a lot of medicL business in town. But the whole staff seemed totally indifferent and didn't seem happy even answering basic questions.

Myself and my family had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel the staff is very respectful and the rooms was very clean and stocked traveling with children is always a task for us so having a conjoined room is a plus and the hot tub was amazing thanks for such an amazing

Had a wonderful stay thanks to Marina and Reema who were extremely accommodating. This modern motel was a great place for a week long stay. The king size room was clean and had plenty of space. The hotel had many amenities and is located right next to Safeway. Housekeeping was super fast when needing any extra toiletries. Definitely recommend staying here! 10/10
