My feeling about this hotel is basically nothing. For somewhere with this star status, and that charges the amount it does, it's amazing that you need to, 1 - even have to ask for the most basic things, like water, to be replaced (this should be done without you having to ask), 2 - repeatedly ask for things that are standard provision at lower tier hotels, like a shower cap. The restaurant food is OK, but it takes ages to come to your room - your options are that or Uber Eats, as it's in the middle of nowhere. The service and amenities here are a 2 star, not even close to a 5.Walkability: It isn't.

Really convenient if you’re a Meta employee. But at this point I’m not sure it’s worth the trade off with everything else. The hotel is generally poor value though the staff is friendly and try to be accommodating. The bathroom is weird/awful. Not sure who had the bright idea to have a bathroom that doesn’t close.I had a package delivered here ahead of my stay. It was stolen. Whether by hotel staff or FedEx, I guess we’ll never know though FedEx remains adamant things were delivered properly. There is no water in the rooms and after a grueling early morning run, no water in the gym either. This is likely my last time staying here.Rooms: Good size. Weird design

Unfortunately had a very rough stay here. Rooms around $350 a night. Shower had giant clumps of long blonde hair. They gave us a breakfast voucher as an apology, then the food came with hair. ? Hot water did not work for 20+ minutes first day, had to take freezing shower. Valet told us he didn’t know which car was ours, wanted us to find proof of possession - had to find car rental to prove it to him. The whole time another guests name was showing in our room for 3 days and they told us they couldn’t do anything to fix it - but safety concern for peoples names to be shared out with strangers. Parking is $37 mandatory. All food orders have a mandatory $20 gratuity even though service was very poor and had to remake food from hair. Not sure what happened, this is a very nice hotel for the area.

Closest hotel to Meta HQ. Great beds and linens guarantee quality sleep. Decent gym, pool and jacuzzi. Rooms with king-size bed have a lot more space remaining than rooms with double beds. Spacious bathrooms.

I love this property. Beautiful rooms, common areas and outdoor area. The staff is wonderful (especially the restaurant and bar staff). It’s a bit away from Menlo Park and Palo Alto but if you need to be in this particular area, this is the best property.

We’re not sure where to start for the absolute incredible experience. Hotel NIA was the best! When beginning to look around for venues, we had done a quick Google search for places which accommodate small weddings in Bay area. Hotel NIA, Porta Blu was the first venue we chose to see. When we booked our in-person visit, we met the GM and Mr. Chad who made sure we had everything we needed until we were directed to Luicel. To begin with, Luicel is such a sweet, lovely girl who genuinely wants to make your event perfect. We knew we had found our location. We booked it right away as it was just as beautiful as in photos. We cancelled the day’s appointment to other venues. We were extremely happy to book such a beautiful venue. It was perfect for our classic, white themed intimate wedding reception.Luicel was efficient and kind when explaining the perfect options for us. Honestly, absolutely everything provided exceeded our hopes and expectations. The entire process of planning was so easy – made seamless by Luicel of course, our event coordinator. She made every effort to accommodate us in every way to make it the most special day for us. She was quick to respond, making communication simple. All aspects of the contract were clearly explained, and the timeline were easy to follow. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive. The team worked with us on scheduling all visits and was flexible since we live 20 mins away from Menlo Park. They were able to accommodate so many of our needs from early preparations, early check in and up until check out we felt really pleased with how they rendered service. We held our reception in the stunning, tastefully designed Porta Blu private dining as we only had 14 people including us the Bride and the Groom. On the day of the event, the staff was attentive, friendly, accommodating and communicative. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests could not stop raving about the food! We had the chicken saltimbocca and sea bass, most of our guests had the rib eye steak and said it was the best steak they’ve ever had (and these people are foodies). The hors d’oeuvres, mini desserts and cake were all delicious! We got a lot of compliments on the food. We were talking about it for weeks and we all actually think that this hotel has the best steak and is worthy of coming back to whenever we crave for one. Our compliments to the kitchen staff and to the awesome chef, Mr. Chad. The drinks were also incredible and the bar service was fast. All of our guests got drunk! We cannot recommend this venue, and all of it’s staff, enough. I wish we could host more events there. Thank you Hotel NIA and everybody in it for giving us an unbelievable day and memories we will cherish for a lifetime. Our wedding was perfect!!

Super comfy beds ! Forced paid parking a bummer but it’s also nice. The valet is also helpful and friendly. Liked the gym and the water and yummy coffee and tea. The beds are very comfy. Beds and hotel seem clean. There were a lot of people in pool and hot tub, they looked nice. Lots if small touches that made the stay enjoyable.

The pool is glorious. Great temperature and clean. The room is great. I love the autograph hotels and this one is exceptional. If I could afford the nightly rate I'd stay here again. But I'm here on business and the stay is free to me.Noteworthy details: Pool is perfect temperature for an October evening swim!

A unique hotel and a great choice in the Palo Alto area. I come down to Stanford hospital periodically and have stayed at other hotels here. The lap pool and hot tub is one of the best in the area. The outdoor area is delightful with a lot of variety. Rooms are really well decorated with a lot of interesting features. Staff are exceptionally friendly. Breakfast at the restaurant is excellent. This is my new favorite hotel in the Stanford University areaRooms: Modern decor great bathroom really interesting design.

Great hotel. looks nice and rooms are great. Just was not a fan of the mandatory valet. Staff was nice and the valet guys were exceptional in their duties, but they were parking cars in the adjacent hotel parking lot that was maybe 200 feet away which I would have preferred to just do myself. the valet fee seemed steep and unnecessary with how much it is a night especially when you have no other choice to park your car

Good rooms and daily housekeeping. But the extras - like a forced valet parking ($37/night) really pinch after you have paid $500 per night in the middle of nowhere aka the location is sad. Will not return to this property. There are better hotels in better locations without the parking fees.

Terrible experience. Paid extra for a balcony room which had only 1 chair and was situated directly over very noisy ventilation fans, totally unusable. Front desk never contacted us when room was ready after initially trying to check in as we requested, also when directly requesting reception to service the room, room service simply dumped towels in the room not making the bed or removing dirty towels. Appalling after paining well above $700 for a 2 night stay !

Nicely designed and welcoming hotel lobby. The beautiful outdoor spaces outside the restaurant, which includes a park-like patio, sets this hotel apart from other business hotels. The only drawback is the lack of self parking and expensive valet.

Great hotel!!! Had an amazing experience with one of the staff members Khalil. We wanted ice tea and one of the bartender said it wasn’t available. 15 minutes later look who it is….Khalil walking out to bring us ice tea. My hero.

All hotels in the Bay area are expensive, but I don't love being forced to pay an extra $40/night for valet (no self parking option). It really is a decent hotel, i just expect more for the price. Bedding was super high quality. Towels in the bathroom were surprisingly low quality.
