We hosted out-of-town guests for our son‘s wedding at the Stanford Park Hotel. They were so impressed by the beautiful facility and incredibly helpful and friendly staff.

Our “go to” hotel when we need to be in the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area. Personable and professional staff, great hotel amenities (restaurant, courtyard with fire pits, pool area), and lovely rooms.

The hotel rooms and location are nice. However, the service is extremely poor. The night staff are particularly rude, especially when answering the phone. During our stay, the night shift staff even made a false report of domestic disturbance, which resulted in us being involved in an unnecessary legal case that lasted three years!

We recently stayed at Stanford Park Hotel for a business trip and our experience was nothing but spectacular. The coordination with Lauren prior to our arrival was simple, quick, and seamless. Upon arrival, the front desk team was very warm and welcoming - an excellent 1st impression. My room was available quickly and as the event host, I was greeted with a fresh fruit tray. The room was gorgeous, quiet, and extremely clean. We checked out the courtyard area by the firepits and the ambiance was unforgettable. Last but not least, the location is great. It's walkable to the Stanford Park shopping center and nearby offices. We just booked another hotel room block. It's our go to spot!

Rooms: The room and bath were lovely. I hadn’t been back for 15 or 20 years and it was just as nice as I had remembered. The bathroom had been redone and, in particular, the shower was beautifully designed. Highly recommend.

We just had 100 executives stay at the hotel for a course on the Stanford campus. Everyone thought the hotel was fantastic!

Staff friendliness is so fake. WiFi was unusabily weak and interrupted my meeting. Gym is so outdated. When I texted the number they provided about the weak WiFi it’s just ignored. I told the front desk in the morning on 3/5 about weak WiFi in my room, but it’s also just ignored, nothing improved after I was back. When I checked out on 3/7, I told the front desk that they should have my email address in their system for her to email the receipt, she was too lazy to find it and asked me to write it down and did a disdain face when she turned her face to look at the computer. Fake people. Will definitely plan my travel earlier next time and avoid this hotel.

The hotel itself is wonderful, I'd have given it 5 stars straight away. However, for those who are sensitive to noise, this hotel sits right next to cal-train tracks, and starting at 6am in the morning, you will start hearing frequent train horns as they approach the Palo Alto station.
