I have been coming here for over 20 years. I have no idea where the negative reviews come from as I have always had wonderful experiences here and wonderful care!!!

I’ve been going to MMC for over 30 years now. I have had a few different general practitioners as a few moved to different states or retired, but every one has been a top notch professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I have currently Dr. Christina Pagano as my GP and she is wonderful, I’ve been going to her for about 10 years. Dr. Carry Rothstein, gynecology, Dr. Diana Leu, dermatology, and Dr. Donna Lee, ophthalmology, I’ve all been seeing for many years with no complaints. Xray & mammography technicians I’ve had, have also been very good. And I’ve never had complaints about receptionists’ lack of courtesy, like many are stating here. However, I do understand the frustrations people voice of not being able to find a doctor that is accepting new patients. The population here (silicon valley) has increased radically the past 10 - 12 years, to me it seems logical that there are fewer medical professionals proportionately?

False online information on whether their doctors are "accepting new patients." When Medigap or Medicare Advantage insurance identifies and assigns one of them as a Primary Care Physician, upon calling for an appointment they say not a single one of their dozens of doctors is accepting new patients. So this Stanford Healthcare affiliate is essentially rejecting healthcare insurance and intentionally misleading the public about that fact during the annual Open Enrollment period.

I just had the worst customer service call with this receptionist. I didn’t get her name, she has accent speaking and talking down to me. Why does she even have a job in this economy? Straight out rude and lots of attitude. Trying to schedule a date for my appointment. Wish this place have online appointment so this woman will not have a job.

Surprised to see all these poor reviews! I've been here once, this past week, and had a great experienceParking: a bit tight but people are always coming and going so you should be able to find space in the parking lotReception: staff are friendly and reception/waiting area is clean and spacious Provider: I saw an ophthalmologist named Dr O and he was amazing! Right on time. Super attentive, great listener, and didn't push invasive treatments (which can happen when doctors want to bill!). He wanted to "maximize our conservative treatment options before moving to the next tier of treatments". You don't always see providers like that and I think this displays thoughtfulness, care, and good medicine! I'll keep coming back here to see him.

I have lived and visited doctors in 6 states, including in San Francisco, and this is by FAR the worst experience I’ve ever had. Office reception and customer service staff is incredibly rude. Spoke to three or four different office staff over the phone and only one was even remotely helpful.Almost zero availability from any of the doctors at the practice. The next available appointments for any of the doctors were 10-12 months out - who schedules a doctors appointment a year in advance? At that point, just say you are not accepting new patients. They have ~20 doctors between the two locations and nobody could see me before the end of the year (it’s Jan 5). They told me that the doctors may accept you into their practice by special request, but when I went through this exercise, the staff only put a request in with 3 of the 7 doctors I listed, and none accepted. What a colossal waste of time and horrible experience with the staff.

Dr. Kevin Wallace, Dr. Martin Bronk and their staff treat patients very poorly. They make the patient wait every time 1 hour after their scheduled appointment to be seen and they don’t provide heads up or acceptable reasoning. They would just mention he’s busy. But they themselves provide only 15 minutes of grace time and then cancel your appointment. They also are not responsive for prescribed imaging. They’ll put the order but with a wrong code and you have to call them at least 5,6 times to correct the order.THE CARE IN HEALTHCARE IS MISSING AT THIS CLINIC! stay away

10/26/22 I went to my podiatry appt referred by Stanford Health Care Los Altos and didn't realize it's located in a neighborhood in Menlo Park housing area Parking inside their lot was tight as the entrance sign wasn't visible from the street until you come to the spot. I checked in and was led to one of the doctor's rooms. I was told to remove my running shoes and put my feet on the mat prepared for me. I waited for a few min then the door opened and then came the assigned doctor. He did not say hello or introduce himself nor say "nice to meet you."Instead asked me why I am there. He saw my feet and my shoes nearby and asked me again why I am there. He did not check in on his computer first. He just asked me why I am there... he criticized me for wearing my Nike shoes. He said by shoes looked like slippers. He took one of the shoes and tried bending them and told me they are soft. I did not hear any positive remarks at all. Anyway my experience there was not a happy one. He actually scolded me for wearing my shoes. He also said he can't see any reason why I was there. I told him it was a referral from my Primary Care Dr. He asked for her name but he said he wasn't impressed with her care! Really? I thought all the Stanford Doctors support each other! He also looked at my health records after a while and told me my Tests were not good even when they were from a long time ago. He did not take the recent improvement as a positive reinforcement but kept saying myPast history to be the cause of my feet problem? I told him it comes and goes and that I am finally feeling well as I had waited to see him for an appt that was scheduled more than 30 days after my injury. I will never go back to see him again. He was rude and not a willing doctor who wants to help. Sad. Stanford Healthcare: please review your doctors who care less about patients like me! I am not happy.

Service levels have dropped significantly since Stanford Health took over. Usual crap, long hold times, can't get an appointment when you need. Many of the good old doctors have left already including Dr.Vukicevic our dear lady pediatrician

I have read many of the negative reviews concerning Menlo Medical Clinic and feel the need to comment. My husband and I have seen many doctors at Menlo Medical and it is our primary home for medical care. Our care has been outstanding and often what I would consider above and beyond. The doctors take the time to listen and explain things thoroughly. I am specifically grateful for the care from Drs. Bronk, Garay, and Riker. The staff have always been pleasant and efficient. I feel they know me as a person and genuinely care for my well being.

I have been seeing Dr Anthony Powell for over 15 years and have not had a problem. My daughter also is a patient of Dr Cleary who is exceptional. I usually don't comment but I felt the need with all of the negative reviews listed.
