My 4-year-old had an accident while at PBS. He required 8 stitches in his face. I was saddened by the accident and the school's response. We made the decision to leave mid-year.

An elementary school that couldn't be better! Superb leadership and teachers, outstanding curriculum. Small class sizes.

Incredible faculty and educational experience! We've had our two children at PBS for 3 years now, and have appreciated the partnership and community. They did a great job with COVID, and I always appreciate how thoughtfully major decisions are communicated. My kids enjoy school and love learning, and are challenged in the classroom and (more importantly to me) appreciate the focus on social-emotional skills as a complement to the academics.

This was my first experience with an independent school. (Aside: I went to public school in Wash, DC from K-12. ) Going into Phillips Brooks School, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. But my family and I were quickly embraced by our amazing "host family", our lovely kindergarten teaching team, and not to mention the Head of School knew my entire family by name the first day we walked on campus. Cultural and racial diversity was very important for my family, and the school has done great work in creating a very diverse community. My children are thriving, and I have made some very close friends within this lovely community.

We love PBS. We feel like the school represents an extension of our family in so many way. The values the school embodies, the commitment to community, and the focus on love of learning are all attributes of the school that help us feel like PBS is a true partner is raising our kids.

This is our 5th year at PBS and we couldn't ask for a more perfect learning environment for our children. The school truly educates the whole child academically, socially and emotionally. The teachers are top-notch and dedicated and really do instill a unique love of learning in each student. We've also made some of our closest friendships in PBS's welcoming community.

PBS is a very special school with an amazing administration, teachers and student body. We have been part of the school community for six years and our children have loved their PBS education and experience.

All three of my kids have loved PBS. It is an amazing learning environment, community and campus. My oldest two have graduated and been very prepared for their middle school experiences.

I have two children at PBS and really feel the school embodies (they "walk the walk") its core values on a daily basis. There is a different feeling as you walk around campus and meet the students - it was unique among the schools we looked at for our children.
