There you find everything related to gardening tools, the attention of the women is very friendly, the repair service is excellent, only the mechanics are very arrogant and not at all kind to the customers. They have a SPANISH SPEAK sign and asking something seems like they get upset or you ask them. the job was given, everything else was very good

I ran a tree service for over 20 years and bought countless saws from this family-run business. They are nice people, although some may feel they are stand-offish. Great products and repairs. There's a reason CalFire buys from them and has their equipment repairs performed there. You can't go wrong, just don't expect to be coddled. They're too busy to hold your hand. Tell June Dan the Mountain Man says "hi."

Just thought I might update my review here. It's been at least a year or 2 since I've last been here. I brought my chainsaw In do to it leaking oil. I was pretty confident that it was / is the bar oil reservoir. I asked them to check it out because I know it's not a fun job to change out. Got charged a 40.00 fee to look it over and them to tell me it's not leaking. I asked them if they filled up the reservoir, which they did not. They said it's just residual oil. BS. I took it home and filled it up and sure enough the plastic case is full of oil. Must be magic! Anyway, they have gotten much more cranky in the many years that I've been going there. Never shall I return. Off to Daniel's in Beaumont.

I took my lawnmower in which had sat unused a few years after failing to get it running myself. I had seen a few post saying that the people were rude so I was a little cautious but went in for parts first and then for the maintenance work later. Each time I was there everyone was friendly, kind and helpful. My lawnmower runs great now. I will return if I need service again.

I recently picked up a ride on mower that had been sitting for a couple years and wouldn't start. After trying several places and getting nowhere, Sarah at Wilburs said to bring it in anytime. When I arrived I spoke with Michelle, who took down my info etc and said I would hear from them in a day or two, which I did. Stan called to discuss what he had found along with making a couple suggestions on things I might want to do. He did not try to upsell me, he was just telling me what's what - which I appreciated. In the end the job was completed quickly and at a very fair price. Sarah, Michelle and Stan all communicated clearly with me, were pleasant to deal with and I will absolutely continue business with this shop. Something else cool about this place it is a 3rd generation family business - something I always enjoy seeing and supporting. Thank you to everyone at Wilbur's. Art Fleck

I delt with Wilber back in 1979 and early 80's. Wilber was great to know and do business with. He passed on and I have had to get some small tractor tires there. I had them install one and took the other home. I went in without my tire and told Wilbers daughter I was going to bring in my tire that I had purchased several years earlier. It had something sitting on it and was out of round. I did not notice the price tag on it. I told the repair man I was going to bring it in and that it would be hard to inflate. He said ok I went out and got it and walked it down the side of the building to the back. The next day I I went to pick it up and they were charging me for the tire. I reminded them I came in before fore to let them know I wanted the other tire mounted. Wilbers daughter was rude and said next time bring a receipt. I have had another dealing with them where they were over charging me and were rude. They are over price and I can get anything on the internet for mush less than they are asking. Wilber was great. I don't know where his son went. I might have gone to Havasu with some of the other young people from Mentone that went there and started great businesses. Wilbers wife is not much better. I hate to say bad things about the business but there are places that do just as good of a job for less money and I don't get treated rudely. I can repair anything and now have a huge 175 psi compressor and can inflate tires with no problem. Wilber was great. Pox on his family.

I've lived in Mentone for 8 years now. And everytime I come to this store I'm greeted with cold stares, and feel very unwelcome. Im a homeowner just across in a nearby community, so Wilbur's is convenient. I'm not going to be discouraged but will continue to shop at this store. Perhaps some day they will learn to show some love to it's customers.

Lady at the front desk just seems like she hates her job and has the poorest customer service. When Asked her for a certain product she just stated if I don’t see the product around the store then we’ll she doesn’t know how to help me. She never even looked at me when talking out loud to me. I just left…

The first time my husband took out lawnmower here he spoke to an older gentleman who was very nice and helpful. He did a great job fixing our mower so we naturally went back when we needed mixed gas. My husband walks in and a women is sitting inside and he says "do you carry the 50-50 mixed gas here for my weed eater" her response was "WELL IF YOU DONT SEE IT YOURSELF HERE THEN INDONT KNOW WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU" after looking around my husband spotted it right next to this rude person and said "oh I see it's right here" her response "YEAH WHATVER" she rings him up doesn't say thank you and then shoved a receipt in his face and says "BYE". Such a shame because we like to support small family owned businesses over the big name stores but she obviously HATES her job and HATES people and doesn't want any business so save the stress and just go down the hill to Home Depot where people have some decent manners.

The woman at the front desk is one of thee RUDEST people I have ever talk too. Customer service is definitely not her department. She was not only rude over the phone to me but as well to my fiancé when picking up our equipment.
