I have excellent credit and I found a vehicle here that I wanted to purchase. I called in and was immediately impressed by the customer service I was receiving. I set an appointment to see a vehicle and then on arrival they had the vehicle out front for me to take a look at. I noticed somethings a little off about the vehicle on arrival such as clips not holding the front bumper on all the way and asked if the vehicle had been in a car accident. They then pulled out a car fax report which looked like it had been manipulated. The vin number matched but it looked like that had typed in the vin number on a different car fax as it wasn’t the same trim line on the car fax. I asked why it would be showing a different trim line and their response was that it was a mistake by car fax misprint but the vin didn’t look look straight either. I asked to see a dmv title report and they refused to pull one. Other than the clips not holding it seemed to be in decent shape. We agreed to a price on the vehicle at which point I decided to make the purchase. I get the car home and start making some phone calls to have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. Next business day I drop off the vehicle to have the looked at and at the end of the day was advised that the vehicle had been in a major accident and that there were also some heavy metal shavings in the oil. I was recommended to take the vehicle back. I took the vehicle back and asked for it to be returned. That’s when all customer service went out the door. I was told that I damaged the vehicle and that I would need to cover the cost of repairs if I wanted to return the vehicle, the price on this vehicle was $35,000 and they wanted to stick me with a $12,000 bill! I’ve had the vehicle for a little over 24 hours at that point and was completely lied to and now I’m currently in contact with attorneys to see if I can get some help. Shady business here.
