I been coming to catholic charities in Merced for a few years. I have 5 kids. My youngest 4 are ages 5, 4, 3 & I years old. All 4 of my kids are in diapers. (My 5 year old, 4 year old & 3 year old are autistic) You could imagine how expensive it is for me to buy diapers for 4 kids. I used to get size 6 and 7 diapers for my kids until they stopped doing that a few months ago. They said they no longer give out size 6 or 7 diapers and only an adult small would be the next size…like wait what…they no longer give out diapers to kids over age 3. They said it’s because they seen someone who gets their diapers selling it and it ruined it for everybody I guess, for those of us who truly need it. Funny thing is the Fresno catholic charities still does size 6 & 7 diapers and give out diapers up to age 5. I guess I’ll be going to the Fresno location from now on! Better services!

I go there about every 3 mths. I get clothing for myself and my husband. But, it's super hard to find clothes for my husband..

Avoid this place at all costs !!!!!! if you need immigration help. They make promises to assist with your case and claim they will file paperwork on your behalf, but then completely stop responding. I wasted valuable time trusting them, only to be ignored and left with no progress or answers. This is not how a charity organization should operate. Don’t let them do the same to you.

They didn't help me or my family and gave me a lunch. One lunch for 4 of us.. and told my daughter she couldn't get all her clothes

Gotta be thankful for Catholics charities. Conveniently located in the downtown area. Big old buildings this town needs lots of renovations. So much wasted space.

Very friendly people. I wouldn't use them as my payee though I know 4 people that have told me they have taken money without permission and that they were not supposed to take that money. But they did and never paid them back either.
