Always find super cute clothes and the best t shirts. Always friendly staff when I've been as well. They are fast to greet and are ready to help when needed.

My brothers and I went in today 10-18-2024 and the cashier was rude when asked questions she would answer in a rude way. Definitely wont be back!

Amazing store, prefect for anyone who loves the world of anime or cartoons?Update: For everyone talking about the limited selection at the Merced location I would like to inform others that it is NOT the location's fault. I really wish they received as much product as their nearby locations such as Modesto but unfortunately they do not receive as much love due to the store being in such a low traffic area. Doesn't really help that nobody wants to shop at Merced Mall in general + what most people do want they rarely send to the Merced store. Despite having a better staff than the Modesto location by a mile they can't sell what they aren't given.

I just read a post from somebody else that said that the customer service was lacking in the Merced Mall location.well I don't believe that to be true the young lady that was there was very helpful to me and to others that walked in behind me. Our mall is going through a lot of changes, and it's taking time. I think if the community starts shopping in stores in their own town instead of online it would help a great deal. I think that it would help families out financially and it would help the growth of this town.

I have always been a fan of Hot Topic. The customer service is honestly lacking at the Merced location. I spend most of my money online. I recently had to return an item and the staff said their system is outdated and could not return the item in store. When I called customer service they were shocked and said that isn't possible. I went to another Hot Topic to return my item without any issues.
