“Renting holiday Inn has been a great joy until this one! To start, when we got into the room the inner curtain had a cut on it, then when attempting to relax in the tub soaking, found out the drain plug went down but the switch to push up didn’t work! So gave up! Notified the front desk in the morning!”

“Love these suits as they have an impressive kitchenette! They have stove, dishwasher, full fridge, pots and pants, plates and more! You can even borrow items!
The room and hotel is nice and clean as well. Comfy beds and all.
They have standard breakfast with eggs, yogurts, cereal, oats, waffles, biscuits, etc.
The swimming pool is right next to a highway so it could be a bit noisy. My room is nice and quiet. Staff are very friendly and gave me flexibility in checking out - greatly appreciated!
The location is nice and close to many restaurants and such.
Overall, would totally come back again.
Also, the elevator is fast and always there open and waiting for you on 1st floor, what a great feature! - even though this may seem trivial, but details make the difference!!”

“Overall it was a very nice stay, the other customers are friendly, and quiet. The employees are very kind and welcoming. They have breakfast 🥞 (complimentary)🍳 between 6:00am-9:00am. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was that the cooling unit is so loud and when it's warm it's almost always running and since it's so close to the highway you definitely hear the changes in traffic flow during the early morning hours. The parking spots are bit tight, but otherwise entering and exiting the parking lot is quick.”

“The atmosphere was really nice with the pool and all the banana trees around it. My dog loved the dog area with all the scents and it was kept clean. Would definitely stay here again.”
“Located right off of highway 99, it's a great location for Merced.
The staff were wonderful...very friendly, extremely helpful, and very pleasant all around...much needed after being on the road for several days.
We checked in, got to the room...and it was just about perfect. The beds were very comfortable, the room was very clean, and the shower was great!
As for breakfast, although I've never been a huge fan of hotel waffles, they have a solid continental breakfast that does the job quite well.
We all very much enjoyed staying here, and will very likely stay here again the next time we're in Merced.

“Very professional staff. Very convenient located next to HWY99. I interacted with the staff 3 times on my visit. They were very helpful and friendly. All those times rooms were clean. No signs of pest, lots of places within walking distance for food and drinks. Overall experience very pleasant.I would stay here again and recommend this place to other folks.”

“The room needed maintenance the shower looked like black mold on the grouting, the grouting had holes and but need to be regrouped. The carpeting in the room needed to be cleaned or replaced. The bed looked new and was comfortable. The hot breakfast was cereal, hot waffles, coffee, milk, sunnydee juice instead of real orange juice. It looked like it was once an upscale hotel at one time. The air conditioner was new and not so noisy. I would of paid double for a Jacuzzi suite but they said the Jacuzzi was out of order for 5 months. I have stayed at worse but I prefer Hilton for the stay and some times Marriott. Motels like this sometimes have hard boiled eggs and yougort and it would have made a better impression. The service was 5 star and very friendly. The location is very close to highway 99 and 15 minutes to UC Merced. The New honkong Chinese restaurant was very good and I do recommend it.”

“I had a great stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Merced. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options and was a great way to start the day. The hotel is conveniently located with easy freeway access, making it a great stop for travelers. Overall, the property was well-maintained, quiet, and provided excellent value. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Merced area.”
