I had purchased a car from here on April 7, 2024, and honestly it was problem after problem after problem. I had to put in close to $1k of repairs just to get it back in a better driving condition. I did write a review bashing this place but had deleted it because the car ended up being overall fine until today. Same issue with the same p0420 code which indicates an issue with the catalytic converter… great! $6,500 dollars down the drain on purchasing a Honda civic aka lemon from here; big mistake that I’ve ever made in my life. I truly wish that I can go back to that day and prevent myself from purchasing that stupid car, if only a time machine existed. I remember calling them a few days later letting them know that I had those issues but clearly they showed 0 remorse cause all they care about is just to make money and sell people their crappy cars. Being a college student and having (now) this same ongoing issue is truly frustrating. My advice to any shoppers that come here is to PLEASE! bring an OBD2 scanner when looking at their cars. Those scanners are only around $20, better safe than sorry. I unfortunately had to learn the hard way, and I’m sure they still remember who I am…

There might be a few decent cars on the lot, however the condition of the location would leave you guessing.
The issue is with the owner, he’s extremely obnoxious, confrontational, does not want questions asked, expects you to take his word for it, will not allow a mechanic to look over a vehicle before the sale. He wants to sell you some $500 insurance where if something goes wrong in the first couple days you can return the vehicle for what you paid minus $500.
He expects you not to ask about a leak, or if the tires have a slow leak when they are nearly flat, but he claims he drove it just a few days earlier. He tried to explain fully inflated tires went down 30lbs because of weather, as if you’ve never owned a car in your life. He then becomes argumentative insisting he’s been in the business all his life.
As a potential buyer you're obviously going to look over the vehicle, if something is broken you’re going to ask about it. He takes offense, accuses you of finding reasons to not buy a vehicle, as if you couldn’t just leave. He then declines to do business with you, makes negative comments about you, tells you what a great deal his cars are and how you’ll never find a better deal, like an ex telling you you'll never find anyone better during a breakup.
It’s not just how he treats you, he treats his sales person poorly, she clearly looks intimidated, later you find out she’s actually his wife. His wife however is an extremely sweet lady.
Sadly what would have been an absolute sale even with questions about the vehicle was lost, because of the treatment by the owner.
You don’t have to take my word for it, look over the other negative reviews and you’ll find similar behavior. Feel free to go to the lot and ask questions yourself, but be prepared for conflict.

If you need to buy a car in Merced, or anywhere in the valley I suggest you come here. Not only was the process fully transparent (unlike Merced Honda) but they went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. These are NOT salespeople, they are just people persons.

I went to check out a truck I saw on car guru, I traveled 2 hours to find out it was a scam. The lady there kept saying she didn’t have the keys for the truck I was interested in and kept trying to sell me other cars I was not interested in. After asking for the keys a couple of times she finally “found them”. She gave me the keys and walked away, didn’t give me any information about the vehicle and seemed like she didn’t want to sell it. Upon further inspection the tires were practically bald and the whole frame was full of rust! Alot of their cars frames are rusted, I checked a few other cars . I’m so glad I didn’t buy it, it was listed at $17,000, how can you sell a car so expensive knowing how bad the conditions were? Obviously does not care about their customers . Be careful! They also need to focus on cleaning their lobby, it was filthy. Literally wasted my time driving there.

I just started a business and was in need of a truck.
